Title says it all...

Like have they?

Things like:

-Naruto
-Boruto
-Dragon Ball Super
-Star Wars Rebels (even though it's on Disney it's still star wars and was made because THEY FOOOKING...*calms down*)
[insert more]

Everything is so freaking cute and colorful these days like Disney shet. And don't say it's a stretch because almost ANYTHING Disney creates makes billions of dollars and they are probably the biggest thing right now. I can't remember the list, but I'm pretty sure they are.

So....does Disney indirectly or directly effect a lot of stuff? I'm mostly pissed about Star Wars. Yes, I know they are bringing out more content, but that doesn't mean it's good or even great.

I don't see the correlation between Disney and Naruto.

As for the influence, well yeah. Disney influences a lot of things, but you can't deny that they also make good content most of the time, with a few misses and they're also amazing at marketing their products.

But aside for Disney movies, I don't really agree with everything being cute and colorful. Most movies try to be realistic, edgy, and full of grit. It's refreshing to have something that is on the opposite side of the spectrum.

The reason you might think that is because Disney is great at marketing and their content has a broader audience.

I didn't say movies.

I'm referring to anime. The reason I think that is because it's big...obviously it is and has an audience. You're missing the point and underestimating the influence of things that are big.

Disney biggest strength is what...animation. They thrive in animated things. They try to make as much things animated as possible. You'd have to be ridiculous to not think a huge thing like Disney doesn't influence these animators and creators.

I'm not against cute and colorful, but when you have something like DBZ, Naruto, and Star Wars the clone wars all gritty and opposite...you have to wonder like wtf why is everything cute, nice, peaceful, and colorful now.

I'm not blaming Disney per-say, I'm just looking at it because they are the biggest and do own star wars now.....

That's a far stretch. I don't see any correlation between Disney and Naruto nor DBZ.

So far you've only mentioned Shonen, who have always been marketing toward a more broader audience in the same way Disney has, but that doesn't mean that one is taking ideas from the other. General audiences means more money but also require you to appeal to the crowd, which means less violence/*** appeal.

Yea I don't see what they did to naruto. And as far as Star Wars goes I think Disney has done an amazing job so far with promoting and milking the shit out of the franchise without taunting its legacy. You could go as far as to say they've enhanced the franchise since they bought it
