[Discussion] Has anyone every thought about how much Luffy's hat is worth?

In the manga the ope ope no mi was worth 5 billion berries. I know the ope ope no mi is hax, but its still just one paramecia DF. The gura gura no mi could easily net 10 billion berries or more.

Luffy's hat is more valuable than any of those fruits, the pirate king himself wore that hat through his travels. It was owned by one of the yonko, red haired shanks. Now is belongs to straw hat luffy, an infamous pirate who became prevalent during the Battle at Marineford.

I personally think its worth at least 9-12 billion berries. It was worn by the most powerful pirate who ever lived.

Apart from the sentimental value, luffy's hat has no practical use, unlike the Ope Ope no mi which grants immortality.

So I guess Luffy's hat would be 1 billion maximum! And the gura gura would also be even less than that because the user needs to master it before it can be used as effectively as whitebeard did.

I don't think everybody knows the value of that hat, it's probably not the only one.

If Luffy was to sell that hat he would probably get like 5 berries. Its just an old Straw Hat and it probably smells like shit too since Shanks and Roger wore it long before Luffy was even born.

Then again, it would probably have some value since the future Pirate King is the one who is wearing it.
