Has anime/manga been in such a bad condition that these tropes tend to be repeated?

It's become popular that the past few years tends to see seasonal anime have these tropes (there are more tropes not listed that also have become common):
-Light novels/dating sims that become fan service/harem shows (including incest/step-siblings)
-Shows like Bodacious Space Pirates (the official Japanese site does use that name) that are based off of manga/light novels/games
-Standard/somewhat to standard shounen action shows (some that are romantically-based)
-Whatever is standard with shoujo (I don't really follow shoujo shows because they really don't interest me)
-Rather increasingly popular usage of moe (especially ones at all all-girl schools)
-Shorts
-The rather dark and often violent drama shows

I know they tend to be continually made because of popularity but has the anime been in such a bad condition (I think it's obvious piracy is likely the biggest reason) that these tropes tend to be repeated season after season? This thread isn't about those "if you don't like it, don't watch it responses" but rather Japan often doing several of the same show tropes over and over .

Also, while I know it can be harder for some reason that anime that doesn't have source material to be made, I don't really understand why (Shows with original material that have manga/light novel adaptations before the show starts are to be excluded because while the show ends up being an adaption of sorts of those works).

Heck, if I had the money to fund it and Japan was making it, I would love to have a fan service anime about (On the level of Hagure Yuusha no Estetica, Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai, High School DxD, Queen's Blade, or Seikon no Qwaser but sans any girl's love/yuri fan service) about an 18-year-old that lives in Kouchi City caught in legalized dog fighting (My avatar, the Tosa, comes from this part of Japan and this is where it's still legal to do doggy sumo wrestling) while trying to become a boyfriend of the class blonde that has plenty of brains/boobs.

Saiyokage, I wasn't asking what you consider 2012's #1 anime. I didn't mean topics but tropes, Hipster Madara.

I know I believe you were talking about all this harem crap in never anime while i do enjoy a good harem mostly cause it usually turns into the girls doing some funny shit for the guy ^^ though action is interesting the last action anime i watched was hmmmm I think naruto cause of the new episodes though :/
