Has an anime or manga ever been so good that it's ever motivated, inspired or changed you?
If so, please tell me what it has motivated, inspired or changed you to do or think about.

For me there are a handful of anime that have changed the way that I think, most of them minor changes but some were major.

The biggest ones for me were definitely these.

Clannad + Clannad Afterstory - This really changed my entire view on life. I started being more active, I started listening to whatever I'd been told to do, I started working.
This series made me appreciate life and the little things 120% more than I originally did.

Angel Beats! - The ending was really touching and I would donate my organs if it was the end of me.

The Place Promised in Our Early Days - It motivated me to always keep my promises, now if I don't want to do something I just tell people I won't do it :p

Death Note - I know what you guys are thinking. No, this series did not inspire me to become a crazy psychopath serial killer, nor did I want to become a detective. One of the novels taught me to treasure my friends and to always keep my promises, although I don't consider most of my friends actual friends, I simply consider them acquaintances because I know I will not talk to them soon enough because of trivial things like ''Not in the same class anymore'' or ''We don't go to the same school anymore''.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru - This learned me that I don't need friends.

Not really, many feels... but after a while it seems like every author is grasping for some truth or meaning. So even if I did it was short lived and replaced by the next thing. This continued until I found Jesus.

Yes.

1. Naruto - This series changed my entire life. My parents kept on saying me to exercise and study on and on. But I kept saying it's the way I am, it's how God made me. I can't learn something that is difficult for me because I am not meant to be. I am meant to remain fat my entire life. But then, this series and it's character changed everything. Naruto taught me that there is no pre-destined destiny you are born with but it is what you make it out. You can change your own destiny and shape it. There is no short-cut at all. Now after 5 years I am no longer fat, 100 kg. kid. It also taught me that in this world nobody is born evil or bad, it's the circumstances that leads them to be what they are in their present. And there always lies a glimmer of light in every darkness and like-wise. And that people live their lives bound by what they believe as true and correct, which defines their reality. It taught me various human emotion and human psychology. It sparked my interest in my own culture, religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, etc. Every character taught me something equally. In one sentence, "It taught me the art of living" .

2. Maha-Bharat - Not really a manga or anime but my own cultural historical text. It taught me a lot of things, especially Lord Krishna. It taught me that pride is something one should never mourn for and it should be shed as soon as possible. It taught me "Dharma". It taught me so many things that it's literally impossible to list all of them. It taught me the truth of life giving me the purpose of living.

Naruto Anime and Manga taught me the art of living and what true friends are.
Future Diary taught me on what true love is.
Black Bullet taught me that humans have 2 faces light and dark, and that true heroes sacrifice themselves. Syouma Nagisawa deserves all the credit in this show.
I would really watch Angel Beats later or now to see what true love and what a true human is

I always end an argument with, "Just who the HELL do you think we are!?!?!" Lol

Evangellion: Made me realize that the Dead Sea Scrolls really could say anything and be our guide to immortalty....sort of. It had so many complex themes regarding religion and fear. I hated the main character but I think you were suppose to not like him. He responded the way a normal kid might respond. The original ending movies just really inspired me to be more spiritual. Idk, it's hard for me to put into words what I felt when I watched it. Amazing and beautiful come to mind :)

Gurren Lagaan inspired me to work out more and train my body....and of coarse to be more manly, lol
