Honestly, this is the best movie I have ever seen. I highly recommend watching it, and then posting your thoughts here. It's just too short to even give a synopsis so you have to watch it.

I really cried. It was beautiful, yet so tragic.. thinking about what happened to Hotaru after spending close to 10 years with Gin.. She stated she wouldn't be able to look forward to summer anymore, but she was able to eventually move on. I think it was extremely hard. When she was in high school, in winter when that guy held her hand, she wanted to touch Gin and thought about him all the year.. Damn it... wish if it had a happy ending.. or at least if the movie was longer than that...

Yeah the movie is fine.... try watching Natsume Yuujinchou, Hotarubi no mori is pretty much a longer Natsume Yuujinchou episode.
