Harley Quinn is a female of indifferent appearance, her heavily made up face and jester-like outfits make her an incredibly individualistic woman
Before her induction into the Nekura clan in her 20's Harleen was a fairly average looking woman with no real stand out features, she had shoulder length blonde hair which she wore pulled back into a ponytail, her face was clear of everyday imperfections and were home to her clear blue eyes. One often seen as being fairly reserved Harleen was not one to wear much make-up and kept what was seen as a fairly bland facial appearance for her early life.
Once turned Nekura, Harley's appearance became far more extravagant and unpredictable, from full facial make-up to medieval hats to revealing outfits composed of over the top colour combinations and materials. One feature which stays true throughout all her outfits is the pale white face make-up and bright red lipstick.
A few of these outfits will be detailed below and all will be pictured in the 'pictures' section of this bio:
1. The first outfit consists of a blue and red modified boyfriend cardigan with a diamond pattern at the bottom held together by brown straps. She has a domino mask and a necklace with a joker card. She also has brown straps wrapped around her right arm and gloves that go up to a little under her elbow. She wears blue briefs and blue and red leggings with a diamond pattern on them. She has shin-high black boots. Her hair is in pigtails and is two toned (red/black) with a streak of green on the fringe.
2. Secondly is an outfit consisting of a red and black jacket that exposes her torso and underarms. She wears a white bra with a smiley face on it, black and red padding on her arms, fingerless gloves, and a choker necklace. She has a small brown belt and red and black leather pants with black boots. Her hair is in pigtails and is reverted to its natural shade of blonde.
3. (Outfit can be seen on the right of this section) Third is a make-shift nurses outfit. Her natural blonde hair is tied in high pigtails held in place by red hairbands and a small white nurses hat (type thing). A low cut white shirt covers her stomach and underside of her chest although the top of her two toned red and purple bra can be seen appearing out the top of her shirt. A black corset with red trim is held tight around her stomach with straps reaching over her shoulders. She wears a purple domino mask and extremely long thigh high boots, the right leg is red and the left leg purple. A black belt holds up a white ruffled mini-skirt, the outfit is finished of by a purple glove on her left hand and a red one of her right. As well as the gloves she wears long arm bands, the right purple and the left red.
4. This outfit is a one piece, tight jesters outfit with a red and black checkered pattern running through it. Completing the outfit is a black hood with two extending (pigtail-like) arms with white balls on the ends. The white accessories theme is continued as she wears a giant white collar ruffled feather-like collar around her neck, the outfit is complete with black domino mask, red gloves and white ruffled wrist bands to match the collar. Harley is often seen wearing this outfit without the hood in which case she has her hair in a different outfits style.
5. This outfit is a modified, more sexualised version of outfit number four. The red and black checked color scheme is still present throughout the outfit although it is no longer a one piece, instead Harley dons a black and red corset with matching coloured bra underneath, armbands of alternating colors as well as gloves which also alternate colors keeping the checkered theme running down her arms. She wears black choker wrist bands and collar with a belt to match. Her belt holds up skin tight trousers with a black right leg and red left leg, each leg is home to a diamond pattern on the thigh and knee high boots, also of alternating colors. Her hair is blonde and worn in high pigtails, the ends of her pigtails are dyed with a red tint.

Personality
Love makes us do crazy things. And for the bubbly and psychotic Harley Quinn, that includes dressing in costume, becoming a rogue, carrying gag-themed weaponry, and murdering countless civilians—all just to put a smile on her 'puddin's' face.
Before her descent into madness, Harleen Quinzel was a promising psychiatrist assigned to several civilian patients in Kirigakure. But after meeting the Joker (more in history), the young girl became obsessed with the crazed man's warped mind. Sensing opportunity, the Joker manipulated her, driving his therapist mad with Keigoku chakra. Harleen fell in love with the villain and devoted her life to making him happy and spreading his bloody brand of mayhem.
Athletic, agile and dangerously unpredictable in a fight, Harley Quinn is a formidable opponent in her own right. She is willing to do anything in order to further the Clown Prince of Crime's goals—no matter the cost to anyone else or even herself. Her energetic, affable and animated personality is enough to make almost anyone drop their guard—a mistake that could easily cost them their life. Deranged and psychotic, Harley Quinn is the poster girl for chaos' terrifying allure.

History
Growing up in Kirigakure Harleen was a fairly normal girl, she went through her early life living with a loving family and going to school much like any other child ninja in the village. As she progressed through the ranks in school Harleen became very skilled in the ways of combat and was taken on as a student by one of the senior sensei in the village, with this man Harleen was taught all she needed to know in the way of the five basic elements as well as close quarters and weapon combat. After this training Harleen was recognised by a woman in Kirigakure known as Lili, this woman taught her the ways of perfume release and Harleen eventually became a master of this element too. Despite having so much promise in the ways of combat it had been Harleens dream to work as a medical ninja and to work with those unfit in the head, this was because she had always had a fascination with the inner workings of the human mind and loved to see how it reacted in different situations and circumstances. After making the conscious decision to leave her combatant ways behind her Harleen took up a place in the local Kirigakure mental hospital as a trainee psychiatrist. After a couple of years in this position she becme well versed in her role and was able to make the step up to be a professional psychiatrist, it was from here that her life was changed forever.
Harleen's first case as a professional saw her assigned to an unnamed man who had just been brought into the hospital as one completely insane. Harleen was taken to her usual room and was told to wait as the hospital security collected the man. Filled with nervousness and anxiety Harleen found herself faced with a heavily made-up man, deep scars tore up his cheeks from the sides of his lips, giving him a permanent clown-like smile. His green hair and vibrant purple suit couldn't help but interfere with her thoughts, the naive doctor in front of him an easy target and one he quickly took advantage of. Gradually, after their various meetings Harleen would return home in the evening and lay in bed, but she would never sleep. She would stare up into the ceiling and think of him, the dark smile and lanky frame lingered in the back of her head, pressing constantly against her brain. She had become obsessed with the man, no longer able to think about anything else Harleen was left sitting in the darkness, alone, her mind gradually weakening to the crazed mans will.
"I WANT A LAWYER! I WANT A DOCTOR! I WANT A CHEESE SANDWICH!"
No matter how hard she fought, the visions would not go. The more meeting she attended the more she hallucinated, the mans face once etched in her mind became etched all over her walls and ceilings. The illusionary pictures became real as she scratched his face into the paint work of her flat, past her limit she gave into him. During their next meeting Harleen released a bomb filled with knockout gas, clearing the room of guards and carrying her love to safety. Beyond the walls of Kirigakure for the first time in her life she abandoned her home, left only to live for the one thing she believed in... The Joker.
It wasn't long after their escape that The Joker accepted the girl, changing her name to 'Harley Quinn' he laid the Nekura mark upon her hand and her initiation into the clan began... To be continued...
