Wood Release is a Advanced Element, created from a combination of Water and Earth, and as such can be manifested from both a earthen and water source, as well as from the users own body. Wood Release is commonly associated with the Snake Handseal and was the signature element of the First Hokage. Wood Release is naturally superior to Bijuu Chakra and is capable of restraining them. Managing to even suppress the creatures. The chakra suppression abilities of Wood Release were used to capture the nine bijuu and create the five great ninja villages.

Perfect. Now then, read through these techniques and give me an analysis of each. You could mention possible uses, advantages, weaknesses, things like that. I won't expect much from extremely simple techniques.

(Mokuton: Moku no Goku Rendan) - Wood Release: Wood Pole Combo
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: The user creates a thin pole of wood from either the ground or himself. The pole itself can be used as a hand to hand weapon to strike opponents or as a support tool.

Broomstick-no-jutsu. Get all the functionality of a staff without having to carry one around. Makes a decent weapon in a pinch.

(Mokuton: Moku Hasshi no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Projectiles Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Focusing chakra into his hands or the ground, the user will make 3 to 4 small (kunai sized) projectiles of wood and propel them against the enemy.

No shuriken? No problem. Launch wooden projectiles from your hands instead. They can be launched from the ground as well.

(Mokuton: Mokujin) - Wood Style: Wooden Man
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: N/A (+5 for any hits landed by the dummy)
Description: The user creates a training wooden dummy to help him train or to fight against an opponent.

It's not so much a clone as it is a humanoid figure made of wood. You can make it move like a person and even fight but it's not very strong. That's why it more suited for training purposes than actual battle.

1. Very straightforward, a wooden pole you can use to fight and or defend and or spring yourself away from a certain area.

2. Wooden projectiles you can launch towards enemies, the range is nice and you can create either 3 or 4 I'm assuming the damage splits so thats unfortunate but its a decent technique.

3. More of a RP purposed technique, but that +5 per attack could be abused. I won't do it but I'm just saying it is possible.

All in all really weak and simple techniques.

(Mokuton: Moku Henge) - Wood Style: Wood Transformation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10 (-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: By focusing chakra and performing the Bird → Dog → Snake hand seals, the user makes wood pillars sprout from the ground and cover his whole body, while using chakra to cover it with precision to produce the desired effect. By covering the wood with his chakra the user is able to transform it into another shape or form with increased detail, by using his wood chakra. This is used to create an effect similar to the transformation technique but to a higher degree of detail and realism.

A advanced version of the transformation technique. Instead of transforming your body, you instead surround yourself in wood pillars and shape that into your desired form. It's similar to a costume. Wood chakra is used to increase the detail of the transformation such as color and texture.

(Mokuton No Jutsu) - Wood Style Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Creates small wood pillars or trees to trap, fight, or defenf with. These can be created from the users own body or from the ground.

A fundamental wood style technique that makes most of these basic techniques obsolete. It creates wood pillars or trees from the ground or yourself like most of these jutsu. Fairly useful for a variety of functions until you get your hands on the higher ranked version.

(Mokuton: Mokuchū Noboru) - Wood Release: Wood Pillar Climb
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 30
Description: The user manipulates their wood natured chakra to create a pillar of wood rise up beneath the opponent lifting them into the air.

Creates a pillar beneath an opponent to lift them into the air. Might make them vulnerable to a follow-up attack but that's about it. The previous technique could do better.

(Mokuton: Mokuchū Sora Kikku) - Wood Release: Wood Sky Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: The user will attack the opponent multiple times with several punches and kicks before turning their left arm into wood that extends out into a small pillar and pointing towards the ground and then lifting them towards the opponent where they finish them with a kick to the chin lifting them into the air.

A taijutsu combo of punches and kicks that ends in transforming your arm into wood to lift yourself toward your opponent and kick them into the air. Wood release barely makes an appearance here. Totally useless in my opinion.

Hope you liked those because these are somehow worse. Here are half of the C ranked ones, all short ranged.

(Mokuton: Sanoru Moku Tate) - Wood release: Threefolds Wood Shield
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user forms a shield of wood, which consists of three round parts out of his hand. The shield is very durable and can be removed and reconditioned any time the user wants to.

(Mokuton: Shichuuka no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: After doing the Snake → Rat → Ox → Ram → Snake hand seals and focusing chakra into the ground, the user creates a wooden home that can serve as a place to stay or as a defense.

It's free real estate. An instant wooden house as intricate as you can imagine. Does not include a soft bed. o-o

(Mokuton: Moku no Sutokuu Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Stocks Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will create a set of wooden stocks that will then entrap the target binding their movement.

Looks like this:

(Mokuton: Moku Ibara Ringu no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Spike Ring Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then form spikes within the ring, pointing at the said target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.

Looks like this:

Utterly useless. Might as well restrain them if you don't want them to move. Or make spikes that actually do damage.

(Mokuton: Narande jurin no jutsu) - Wood Release: Lined Forest Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user punches up into the air infront of them to cause two intertwining tendrils to errupt from the ground smashing the target sending them flying a few feet.

It's just a quick attack for close range fights.

These all seem like techniques meant purely for RP and not meant for an actual fight, the shield is too small, the house is literally a house, the two restraining techniques are C ranked and the last technique is the most powerful. But I got it !

At least these are an improvement, if in range only.

(Mokuton: Mokujin soujutsu) - Wood Style: Wooden Men Manipulation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates a Wooden Men (similar to the (Mokuton: Mokujin) - Wood Style: Wooden Man technique) that mimics his opponents moves. While it can be created from existing wood, earth or water, its major ability is that if used with Wood Men Coffin it can drain way Chakra from the enemy.

Wooden men that imitate your opponent. Really onIy useful for stalling or wearing down an opponent who insists on using only taijutsu for whatever reason. I don't know what this Coffin jutsu is but i doubt it will make this move any better. Look at them, they're hideous.

(Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu) - Wood Style: Four Pillars Prison
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Ox → Boar → Snakeconverts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates.

Much like the jutsu that makes a house, this one creates a wooden prison that can be any size you need for the situation. Another jutsu better suited for the NW than anywhere else. It's durable, but not enough to contain the average ninja unless they've had their abilities sealed or something.

(Mokuton: Moku Hinoki) - Wood Style: Wood of the Japanese Cypress
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: User creates a wooden pillar that surges at the enemy from below, sending the opponent into the air. As the opponent is airborne, the user creates a second pillar from his arm and slams the enemy from above with it, sending him crushing into the ground pillar.

Large pillar lifts them up, small pillar slams them down through the first one. Pretty strait forward. No idea why there's no damage on it. This video makes it look cooler than it actually is. 1:29

(Mokuton: Yarijurin no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Spear Forest Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user will create two tendrils of wood release from their arms in a pushing motion that spins around each other into the target

It requires no handseals so it may fit well in a taijutsu combo if you're going for flair rather than damage.

(Mokuton: San Kyojin Hashira no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Three Giant Pillars Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user creates three large pillars errupt from the ground beneath the target and lifting them into the air.

Nothing to add here. More pillars more range compared to the last one that did this.

(Mokuton: Keimusho no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Prison Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates a spiraling pillar of wood rise up from the ground and surround the opponent restraining them in place.

Self-explanatory. It doesn't damage the target, only constricts them.

B ranks! Featuring techniques you can feasibly use in battle!

(Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Cutting Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A highly versatile techniques whereby the user converts part of their body to wooden branches. These branches can then be used offensively by multiplying and extending them, then piercing opponents with them. It can also be used to create short-range weapons like makeshift "swords", or else vaulted at opponents as a long-range projectile which can then be remotely manipulated to grow even more.

Creates sharp branches from your body that be used as makeshift weapons and multiplied to deal more damage to pierced foes both up close and remotely. Remote growth requires a handseal. Identical to the one Obito uses but with branches instead of roots. Also known as the Neji killer. Quite lethal.

(Moku Bunshin no Jutsu) – Wood Clone Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates clones of themselves made of wood that then sprout out of their body or are created from any nearby source of Wood, Earth or Water. These clones, however, are quite special as they maintain a mental connection to the user, communicating back to him even from long distances. An advanced use of this technique is to transform the clones into seeds that, once implanted or swallowed allow the user to track an enemy (that has it implanted or ingested it) by pinpointing his position through the same mental connection. Versatile, these clones can use Wood techniques as well as Earth and Water techniques up to S-Rank. This technique, when created by Uchiha Madara, creates clones with EMS/Rinnegan and capable of using the EMS/Rinnegan techniques like Madara himself.
Note: Follows the Clone battle rule usage restrictions

Almost as good as regular shadow clones but with its own unique features like a mental comm link and a form of tracking in seed form. They can also merge their bodies with wood and plants to hide inside them. Capable of using Wood, Earth, and Water jutsu up to S rank and, in Madara's case, doujutsu techniques.

(Mokuton: Mokujōheki) Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user does the Rat → Dog → Tiger while focusing chakra into the ground. This technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the centre. Usable mainly for defensive purposes, this technique can act as a trap if the enemy is near.
You must be registered for see images

(Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu) Wood Release: Great Forest Technique
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: By focusing wood chakra into one of his limbs and performing 4 hand seals (Tiger → Horse → Tiger → Snake), the user is able to sprout and extend a massive brute mass of wooden spikes and pillars. These spikes can be used to both attack the user by impaling him through the sheer speed with which they grow and extend or to defense from incoming attacks by spreading a bit wider and forming a barrier between the user and the attack. A more advanced use for this technique is to utilize it to capture the enemy and imprison him in the mayhem of spikes and pillars. The user can detach himself from the pillars at any time, while stopping it in the process.

Hey, a long range jutsu. A mass of spiked pillars quickly sprout from one of your limbs that can be directed at an enemy to attack or imprison them or form into a defensive barrier. You can detach yourself from the pillars at any time so you don't hinder yourself. Excellent for attacking multiple targets and creating a variety of defensive structures.

(Mokuton: Ketatamashii Rūtsu) - Wood Release: Impaling Roots
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user grows four roots from the ground and attacks the opponent, restricting him, impaling him, etc.

A simple technique. Four roots created from the ground with the same variety of uses as most wood techniques. Potentially lethal. Not bad.

(Mokuton: Hashira Hasai no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Pillar Crush Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: After the user traps the opponent within the Wood Release: Four Pillars Prison Technique they will then turn an existing clone into a giant pillar that then crashes into the opponent within the Four Pillar Prison.

The worst of the bunch. Requires the prison jutsu to be used beforehand and wastes an entire clone just to attack them.

(Mokuton: Jukai Heki) – Wood Release: Dense Woodland Wall
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user performs the Bird → Hare → Serpent hand seals and then by touching the floor the user will creates an immense wall of wood branches that will grow at high speed, interlacing to create a defensive barrier.

(Mokuton: Yanagi) - Wood Style: Wood Willow
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: User focuses his chakra and creates a huge willow tree that will sprout from the ground and attack multiple enemies with its branches.

It sounds like something from Harry Potter but its more like a mass of huge wood pillars that erupt from the ground and raise into the air before coming back down on top of the target. It's at 1:50

(Mokuton: Mokujin Hitsugi) - Wood Style: Wooden Men Coffin
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: Creates a wooden House made form Mokujins. Best used with Wooden Men Manipulation to drain the opponent of there chakra while they fight your wooden dummies.

It's that coffin jutsu. I house constructed from multiple wooden men, it drains the chakra of whoever's inside but there's no exact amount mentioned here.

(Mokuton: Jubaku Eisou) Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user does the Snake → Rat → Dragon → Dog → Tiger hand seals and focuses his chakra in the ground beneath the opponent. A large mayhem of branches and vines sprouts and grows, interlacing around the opponent until it forms a tree around him, restraining him completely while leaving only his head visible. With a simple push of chakra, the user can make the tree compress around the opponent completely crushing him.

Pretty self-explanatory. You can leave your opponent immobile or have the tree crush them inside. Reminds me of Gaara's sand coffin.

(Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The technique is similar to wood release: great forest technique in respect that the users arm transforms into several wood tendrils, which can be used to capture and restrain an enemy. The main difference is that the tendrils aren't sharp or intended to harm the target, instead spreading in a thinner manner to restricting the target as opposed to attack it. It can be large enough to trap even a large summon.

Less range than Great Forest and incapable of doing damage as a simple restraining technique. Good if you want to avoid harming your target.

(Mokuton: Uchū no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Universe Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user causes a wall of wooden tendrils to errect from the ground trapping the opponent and then the user will punch them with a powerful strike sending them flying through the wooden wall of tendrils.

A wall of tendrils restrain the targets limbs so you can punch them through it. Underwhelming compared to its name.

Alright, once again I really admire the visual aids. Mostly defensive and restraining techniques. But since they're B rank I'm probably not very likely to use them in battle. No questions.

Sorry for the late reply

(Mokuton: Kongō Shōboku) - Wood Release: Adamantine Forest Call
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user manipulating their chakra will then place their hand on the ground and cause multiple tendrils to errupt from the ground around the user and then joining together above their head. This technique strikes any close range targets as it fully forms or can be used as a defence against some incoming attacks

A quick technique that can be useful in close combat situations. The tendrils can strike any nearby targets as they erupt from the ground and join together above you. They don't completely surround you so they won't protect you from every angle if used for defense.

(Mokuton: Noboru Hashira no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Climbing Pillars Technique
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will create multiple pillars of wood to rise up around them in a circle that can defend against incoming attacks or lift the opponent/s into the air.

It does the same thing as the last jutsu only the pillars don't come together above you and they don't deal damage. Still, anyone close enough will be lifted into the air by them as they rise. The worse version.

(Mokuton: Mokusei Hanmā no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wooden Hammer Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user will create multiple planks of wood that shoot up from the ground launching them at the target sending them flying.

Wooden projectiles like the one you learned a while back, but stronger.

(Mokuton: Sōhokaku no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Total Capture Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will erect a wooden dome around the target trapping them. However whiles this jutsu is in effect the user nor the target can see each other making each other oblivious to one another's actions unless via some form of sensory technique.

A full dome rather than a half dome. As simple as it gets. Better for trapping an enemy than for defense.

(Mokuton: Enkei Shūchūrō no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Circular Pillar Prison Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user creates a stronger and more offensive version of Wood Release: Four Pillar Prison Technique where they create wooden pillars in a circular formation to trap and crush the opponent.

Another trap-and-crush jutsu. Actually an improvement on these other prison techniques.

Yeah, they're that simple. At least now we're getting to the next rank of techniques.

(Mokuton: Dai Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Great Cutting Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: An enhanced version of the Wood Release: Peircing Branch Technique in which the user will create giant branches that are essentially as thick as tree trunks which are then used to intertwine around their opponent and effectively crushing them.

This version of the Cutting technique creates much larger branches from your body that you can control to intertwine around your target and crush them between the branches. The change in scale makes this one hardly resemble its parent technique.
You must be registered for see images

(Mokuton: Kyousei Mokuzai No Jutsu) Wood Release: Greater Wood Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user focuses and molds his chakra, using it to create Wood structures, Pillars, Trees, etc to defend, attack or support him. The Wood can be created from the users body or from earth sources and its limitations are only set by the users own imagination and the chakra put into the technique.

The standard jack-of-all-trades wood jutsu. Nothing new here, it only makes most of what you already learned obsolete because of its versatility.

(Mokuton: Torakkingu Za-men) Wood Release: Tracking Seeds
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long (on senses)
Chakra: 25
Damage: N/A
Description: User creates seeds made out of their chakra. The seeds can be dispersed on the ground or placed in the body of the enemy. Since the seeds are made up of the user's DNA they can be used like transmission devices. They react to movement or pressure as well as chakra.

These seeds act as tracking devices if you can somehow plant one of them on or even inside your target. They react to movement, pressure, and chakra which essentially lets you know what's happening to it and the person its attached to. I don't know how precise the chakra part is. I assume it just recognizes when its in contact with a person or technique, not their chakra levels.

(Mokuton: Idenshi no Shondiame) - Wood Release: Genes of the First Hokage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: the user makes his wood emerge from the ground creating two sections and spirals around the opponent and with the clinch of his hand, the wood crushes the opponent.

It sounds a lot like one of those trap-and-crush jutsu but i guess it's worse? The wood sections coming up beneath the target knock them into the air and grow before crushing the target, not in an intertwining way like Great Cutting but more like smashing two blocks together. It's at 1:07
You must be registered for see medias
(Mokuton: Jumoku Kōtan) - Wood Release: Nativity of Trees
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user strikes the opponent with Wood Release: Great Forest Technique and makes the wood that struck the opponent form into a tree. This technique can also be used to bind the target with the tree.

Um, its just the Great Forest technique except the pillars turn into an actual tree after you hit the target. It's also SHORT RANGE. For a higher ranked technique it manages to be worse than the original. Stick with Greater Wood release.

(Mokuton: Renchūka no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Serial Pillar Houses Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is a larger scaled version of the Wood Release: Four Pillars House Technique. Instead of creating a single house, Yamato creates multiple houses at once. It appears to exhaust him rather quickly, and as a result the user may only perform B rank and below wood element the following turn. This technique can be used to for multiple homes or as a defence.

Here's the last of the A ranks. I'd add something but they're really basic techniques, most which can be done with another more versatile jutsu.

(Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Koutan) - Secrect Wood Style: Birth Of Dense Woodland
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user, after making the Tiger → Snake, creates a forest that can either Attack, Defend, Imprison the enemy or simply support the user. The technique that gave birth to the immense forest surrounding Konohagakure, the scale of the technique is only limited by the amount of chakra spent in it.

(Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Bakuha) - Secrect Wood Style: Explosion Of Dense Woodland
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: After using (Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Koutan) - Secrect Wood Style: Birth Of Dense Woodland, the user will clap his hands and focus his chakra into a portion of the created forest, using said chakra to detonate it into a large chakra explosion, leveling the field and leaving a crater behind. The explosion will be concentrated around a given spot, damaging everything Mid-range from it.

(Mokuton: Hashira Tsurī no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Pillar Tree Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user will create multiple intertwining pillars rise up behind them several meters high and then sprout outwards sending multiple branches of pillars to converge on a large area and slamming into the ground. These branches are not heavily concentrated but rather are equally spread out with about 1 meter and half gap between each extending branch.

(Mokuton: Mokusei Senbon Hashira no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wooden Needle Pillars Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user will create one pillar to rise from the ground lifting the opponent into mid air (3 meters) where multiple spikes of earth will rise from the ground penetrating the victim.

(Mokuton: Jurin Taihō) - Wood Release: Forest Great Crumble
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: After performing the Snake hand seal the user makes trees grow rapidly under the target, stabbing them and throwing them quite distantly.
