Ever since I was a kid, I'd get flowers―their favorite ones―for the old geezer and dad to give gran and mom. It was our little secret for years. And today I was the one receiving them. Things at home have been a little rough, so it was really heartwarming to hear "you've grown into such a beautiful woman" from them.

Why should women have a specific day to be remembered?? :| Imo, Women's day is everyday since they are always remembered. Atleast for me anyways. *_* Although if this day is designed by the feminists, then they've created an awful paradox. Thinking of equality and yet at the same time distinguishing themselves by creating a day solely devoted to women. U_U I'm not sexist or misogynist. No they don't, a day for existing? I've never heard, "Happy Man's Day". But it's not even about that, all these "days" do is encourage separation.

You don't need a day for existing unless you did something great for humanity or the world.

But don't you see that's obvious? Of course women will do stuff since more than half the population are women. Being a female is one path of life that's in many aspects of life opposite of male.

Nahhhhh Just more holidays. I like holidays. Plus if you remember like I did and wish your GF a happy woman's day you get fun pictures and cuddle time

It is silly to have a "holiday" for women.
But it doesn't effect me either way.
So if they want a day to feel special as if mother day or their birthday isn't enough then let them.
Though they shouldn't be happy for having just one month to be who they are.
