The Great man that goes by the name Hayao Miyazaki has lived 75th human years, i wanted to share this news sooner but i'm two days late. His divine greatness of anime artwork showed me infinite possibilities. Whats your best movie ? I know mine without doubt.

Studio Ghibli & Miyazaki delivers like they were Messiahs of art, there is no way my small appreciation will ever be enough

According to imdb it was 5'th january, but w/e xD. First movie i saw with him was Sprited away and it blew my mind. Though my favorites would be mononoke hime and laputa. Porco rosso on a close secound >_>. Shame his last movie was the least best one i saw with him....

Its weird that movie never got such a release in here in sweden as spirited away did. I had never heard of any of his movies prior to spritied away which came year 2005 i think. Mononoke hime didn't win an Oscar like that one did i guess but it was nominated.

EXACTLY!, how in the Omniverse did spirited away develop greater reputation than THE princess mononoke? Either ways a mere oscars award is too weak in order to show appreciation for mononoke hime.

I remember that statement but he is very much right. He probably wants the next generation to put more effort in the stories.
No anime comic has yet come close to what studio ghibli achieved, nowhere near.

Those are fake subtitles that were circulating around tumblr a while ago. Miyazaki never said that.

OT: I love Studio Ghibli and I love Miyazaki of course.
My favorites of his works would be the phenomenal Spirited Away followed by Mononoke Hime and Howl's Moving Castle.
