So i was wondering, does anyone think that things could possibly go back to normal in terms of Sasuke and the village. About eighty or so chapters ago in the manga Sakura was like "I still hope for a time when Team 7 is all laughing together again" or something to that effect.(Not that Sasuke did a whole lot of laughing to begin with) And I was wondering if anyone thinks that its possible for that to happen? I know I'm being naive to hope for this but anythings possible right?

Of course its possible, its even the most likely outcome. I don't really understand why people were saying its impossible. Nagato was about to have been forgiven even after he pretty much killed half of konoha. Redemption for sasuke is extremely possible.

Wow, an overwhelming majority of you guys really don't believe in redemption. I have to agree with the post above this one, after the Nagato's redemption and all the people he's killed we don't have a bad taste in our mouth when we think of Nagato. Distance yourself from what you believe Sasuke SHOULD get and more on what you think he actually WILL get. Sasuke is not the best person in the world, thats obvious but think about all of the shows and all of the chapters that we have seen so far, do you really believe that the show will end tragically? With Sasuke becoming the biggest villain the shinobi the world has ever known? You really think that with the Naruto, being what it is, that the ending with Sasuke will be sad? I realize how easy it is to just say "yeah he's bad so he's gonna die" but just think about it.

I have to agree with the post above this one, after the Nagato's redemption and all the people he's killed we don't have a bad taste in our mouth when we think of Nagato. Well in the end Nagato's actions were trying for peace no matter how wild his ideas for it were, where as Sasuke is only interested in revenge and destroying the leaf for outcasting itachi even though itachi gave up everything to protect it. i do agree that it will probably end happily or something like that but i personally would prefer him getting what he deserves

Yeah, I mean to be honest, I go back and forth. I'm not a big Sasuke fan but at the same time I'm a sucker for happy endings.
