[Discussion] Haoshoku Haki

How come we haven't seen a single Marine with it yet? I know it's rare but of the character's shown to have it not one was a Marine. You'd think at least Garp or Sengoku would have had it and at least been mentioned, or Akainu(who should at least have it shown by the end of the fight) Also on the fan wiki it says Boa has Haoshoku

Wouldn't go with their style, they are sort of followers. And Boa was confirmed when Luffy used it while fighting those two snake zoans they said something like "same as boa or they had only seen boa have it except that".

As stated above, Boa definitely has it.
Some Marines might have it, the only place where we've seen strong Marines in action is Marine fold and even WB did not show CoA here so MF shouldn't be used as a reference. Fujitora could have used it against fodder in Dressrosa but his DF seems more effective (I'm not saying Fujitora has it). My guess is Akainu will have it and probably Kuzan too, I feel Garp has it too and probably Sengoku.

I must have forgotten the part with Boa, I was thinking there was an action scene showing it. I would say Garp is likely to have and if Dragon has it then there's no real reason Garp shouldn't. Sengoku as Fleet Admiral should also have it since many pirates seem to have it, the Fleet Admiral should always have it I would say, it should be a pre-requisite for FA.

As for WB this is part of the problem for me about the earlier portrayals of haki, before the blackening was shown(and with Sentomaru) there is shown a haki that doesn't require the skin changing colors. Also WB hit Akainu at MF which most everyone says is proof WB had Armament Haki(I'm not disagreeing) and there was no coloring to showcase it in those chapters. So I take that information(invisible haki) and say maybe BB used Armament Haki in ID to hurt Luffy and not exactly his DF nullifying Luffy's power yet people say impossible.

This haki comes from the life they live in unlike marine pirate life is rough and has more enemy then marine also less strength in no. of crew members.Marine fights for Justice which they see as fit acc. to nobles not for common people.
This dormant haki usually come when something terrible happen in life of a person like doffy hanged and banish from nobility,Boa as a slave and for luffy its ace/will of D/Dragon blood line too/separate from his own crew.
Marine can never have this quality.When you have everything you can't feel it.

Im pretty sure he is referencing the colliusm fight between where Luffy uses his kings haki and the compare it to boas iirc
