handed powerups or deserved??

2) Rikoudou Mode :- Free

And you basically said that Sasuke's EMS + Rinnegan was a free power up. That would rustle a lot of Sasuke fans jimmies

sasuke's ems and rinne were free powerups, one handed by obito and the other by hago, sasuke didnt pick itachi's corspe after his death if it hadnt been for obito itachi's body along with his eyes would already be roten rendering itachi's eyes useless plus sasuke didnt have medical knowledge like obito, hadnt obito transplanted itachi's eyes into sasuke nobody elso would have done it, as for hagoromo he basically came over to sasuke and said "do you want half of my power?"

In my opinion I think RM was a free power up. EMS I dunno. I think it can be classified as free power up but it is debatable since Sasuke would have had yo master it. Rinnegan was a free powerup like RM.

Their powers were well deserved, Naruto fought for 3 days before dying. Sasuke was also dying with Itachi in his thoughts

- strong emotions + extreme stress = new dojutsu, this was clear ever since he awoke Sharingan against Haku.
- extreme physical stress + endurance = stronger body -- Karin proved this, Naruto proved this learning SM U_U

even if required effort and time to master it, it's a free powerup because sasuke didnt do anything to get such a powerup besides being an indra reincarnate, a deserved powerup is a powerup a character worked for and not just got it out of the blue. besides a free power up is like a car that you dad gives you, if you didnt learn to drive it would pathetic, so it's only logical they learn to use a powerup otherwise they would look dumd

actually they went through bad situatuons both but they were not trying to get a powerup, they didnt even know about it, other characters intentionally worked to get such powers, besides hadnt obito and hagoromo given those powers to naruto he would be dead the same can be said for kabuto aand hagoromo once more

Madara gave Nagato his rinnegan for sure but still nagato had to train his ass to master the rinnegan. & he also uses a special rinnegan tech which only he and hago can use according to the 4th databook.

Well i considered a deserved powerup as one you worked intentionally to get it, therefore when you didnt have it yet, you knew you had to work your way to the powerup, after the powerup is received is only logical that the user masters his powers otherwise he would look pathetic, take nagato's case for example he has a lot of credit for mastering the rinnegan but has zero credit for getting it ,of course this is only my opinion.
