regarding the jougan and sasuke's one-eyed rinnegan
kishi was inspired by japanese mythology

the ancient Japanese myth and religion of Shintō, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susanoo are all gods. When Izanagi washed his face after escaping the underworld his left eye became the Sun Goddess, Amaterasu

rinnegan is yin and yang both should be in both eyes too but sasuke only awakened it in his left.
sasuke's rinnegan looks different than the rinnegan in both eyes

You technically don't know what hamuras seal was but it can be inferred it's yin since it parallels sasuke's.

And as for hamuras association I think his is moon and star, since hamuras tsb staff shows a different symbol and the boruto series has brought up the star symbolism a couple of times
