There was no chapter this week so i decided to read some earlier chapters of Naruto. I re-read the so6p's talk with Naruto and I noted how he said he and his brother fought the juubi and sealed it within THEMSELVES.This indicates that Hamura must have been the juubi jinchiruki or something. After giving it some thought though i decided it wasn't plausible, as Hamura surely would have done some memorable things like the sage did with that power however nothing... This led to the development of my theory.
The sage gave out Ying and Yang power to Naruto and Sasuke however when Kaguya arrived she recognised the power initially as the power of Hagoromo and Hamura (although she later realised it was Indra and Ashura) indicating that power was normally shared between two people. Hagoromo and Hamura Indra and Ashura Sasuke and Naruto. This got me thinking, how could Hagoromo posses both powers then?
My answer was Hamura possibly did what Obito did with Kakashi and basically got absorbed by Hagoromo making them one which could explain why Hagoromo claims the juubi was sealed within themselves and not himself. The most logical reason for this in my opinion, was that he was really weak after battling the Juubi or perhaps their combined powers were the only way of sealing the juubi. (However this seems less likely as Obito had no problem sealing albeit a weaker juubi within himself) As for the reason why Hagoromo would have hypothetically been able to permanently keep his brothers powers, i believe this is due to them benefitting from being the children of the Rabbit Goddess and basically being o.p as f**k.
It may be totally incorrect like i said its just a theory but what do you think?
