I actually can. The Tenseigan alter was created with Hamura's eyes. Heck Toneri called the Tenseigan "Hamura's Power".

It wasn't stated when he activated the Tenseigan but it was stated that he activated it on the moon.

So we are in the same boat. You saying that he activated it as an old bag can't be proven.

I wonder which false source you used to come to that conclusion when in fact Hamura has never been shown ever with Tenseigan in his eyes while Hagoromo has been shown quite well with his Rinnegan.
