So, there's been a trend in Naruto for the past 200 chapters or so?
Pain was the main mastermind villain and we knew that sometime in the past there was a Madara Uchiha. Then it turned out that he was being manipulated by Tobi, who then became the mastermind villain and was thought to be the Madara mentioned before (according to the manga at the time). Then it was revealed that Tobi wasn't Madara and that Madara had manipulated Tobi and was the true mastermind; there was also mention of a Kaguya in the past. Then it turned out that Madara had been manipulated by Black Zetsu and that Zetsu was the true mastermind and that he was the will of the Kaguya mentioned before, who was then revealed to be the true mastermind.
Anyway, where I'm going with this is... A Hamura existing in the past has been mentioned, and there seems to be this whole trend of the mastermind villain manipulator being revealed to be somebody existing in the past that has been mentioned.
Already the trend is getting ridiculous, but how would you feel if it continued, and it was revealed in the manga that Kaguya has actually been manipulated by Hamura, who is the true mastermind villain of the entire series in the same way the other "masterminds" have been cited? And then just to make it worst, Hamura turns out to be Orochimaru, after having lost his Byakugan eyes years ago and is trying to reclaim it from an ancestor of the Hyuuga or something crazy like that. I feel like the manga has already reached this level of absurdity, no?
