True, but at the same time, their current balance was created to be a fit match for Madara. Kaguya has shown pretty easily why the current balance is useless.

Lol that's actually pretty relevant. I'm positive that if Hamura would give him Yin that Naruto would awaken the Rinnegan, just like Madara gained the Yang and awakened the Rinnegan. Like I said in the theory, I actually think that the only reason Hagoromo awakened the Rinnegan is because Hamura probably gave him Yin before he died during the fight against the juubi.

Even though this theory is trully magnificent, if it happens the way you suggest then it would completely contradict the whole equality thing. Naruto would be way stronger that Sasuke.

While it is true that Naruto would be stronger than Sasuke if my theory does come true, it is also likely that it would only be for the time being. Every time Naruto gets stronger, Sasuke gets stronger as well, and vice versa. However, there is still one other dynamic that hasn't been encountered in the war yet: the fruit.

Sasuke is like Indra in terms of personality. What would happen if he got neglected by Hamura like Indra did by Hagoromo? He'd probably have the same reaction and go after the fruit to try to take over. This gives legitimacy to Hagoromo's fear of the fruit, as well as possibly set the grounds for the final fight.

If that weren't to happen, then there is the scenario where Hamura gives Sasuke a little power, enough to possibly give him a second Samasara eye, which would level out the playing feild.
