Hamura Ōtsutsuki Accomplishments(Creator of Taijustus)
So Kaguya was known for being the first one to cast IT, so most likely she was the one who created genjustu. We already know Hagoromo created Nishuu which later became ninjustu. So that leaves taijustu for Hamura.
I believe his creations include Gentle Fist, Eight Gates, and Bukijutsu(which is the use of weapons techniques). These 3 abilities happen to be something each of Team Gai's students specialize in. Hamura was born with great hand to hand combat abilities.
Neji = Gentle Fist
Lee = Eight Gates
Tenten = Bukijutsu
Look at this panel of when Hago and Hamura fight the Juubi. Hago has his staff and a sword while Hamura also has a staff but just nothing in his other hand. They are facing the Juubi so you would think he would have tons of weapons on him but just his fist, I think this signifies how great he was in hand to hand combat.
Gentle Fist:
Hamura created gentle fist. Was the first person to use the byakugan fused with hand to hand combat.
Now as we look at Kaguya she really doesnt move around much, she floats and casts techniques from a far only getting close when could appear near with her dimension swapping. Now this could just be her not caring enough to get into taijustu but I believe she just isnt good at taijustu or plain out doesnt know it.
Naruto is able to get a straight shot to her face, now of course she is surprised but the least she could do is raise her hands up to block. Everytime Naruto and Sasuke get close she goes off into her portal, signifying she doesnt want to get into to close quarters.
Only getting in close through her portals.
This leaves me to believe she could not use her byakugan for Taijustu. And that her son was able to create a technique where the Byakugan and taijustu are mixed.
Eight Gates:
We have no idea who was the first person to use the 8 gates but what we do know is that the 8th gate of death was able to injure badly a Juubi Jinjuriki. Power like that have to have been created ages ago. With Hamura's skill in Taijustu he could have easily awakened great power within his body.
Using the Byakugan Hamura could have looked into himself and seen the layout of the gates in his body as shown in Gai.
Madara seems know of the technique so he most likely faced someone with it, meaning it existed during his time.
Madara states he hasnt felt excitement like that since Hashirama. Hashirama was known to have godly power and was a transmigrant of Ashura. Just a testimate of the power of Eight gates.
Bukijutsu:
I dont have much of an anaylsis on Bukijutsu, there isnt much to look at aside from the staff he shows in the panel up top. I just thought the parallel with team Gai was pretty cool and maybe meant something.
There are the 5 weapons of the sage. They could have originally been Hamura's. It wouldnt be the first time Hago was falsely told to have ownership of something or some feat to himself.
Bashosen can create all 5 of the basic nature elements but why would the sage need that if he had the rinnegan which already granted him all 5 of the basic nature elements. It makes more sense that it was Hamura's who didnt have any elements but just Taijustu. This also leads back to Team Gai as none of them have any nature elements.
Kōkinjō can draw out the soul. Nagato's
