On both sides of the entry to the house are two stone statues. Handmade by Tenzen and they represent his father and grandfather. The house is surrounded by walls. On the inside is a fairly large garden. In the middle of it is a little pond with some koi-carps. There is no grass just plain ground. At some points they're holes which are leavings from countless training sessions. The house itself is a pretty basic Konoha-style house. Above the entrance is a pretty big sign with the symbol of the Hamaki family.
Inside the house are four rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a basement, in which all the chisel work happens. The four rooms are: Hamakis room, Tenzens, a guestroom, and a living room. Furnishing is pretty simple, tatami-ground and Shoji-walls. The workroom in the basement got a lot of working stuff: hammer, chisel, all kind of stones and everything in different sizes.
