Exactly! Look how far ahead Haku was in every aspect in their fight, at the same age. If kishi didn't kill him off for plot, Haku would be much stronger than sasuke in this point of time.

If Haku didn't hold back, their would be no Sasuke right now. And if kishi didn't kill off Haku for plot, Haku would have kept on training and gotten far stronger.

^^^^ this right here folks. I just wish Haku didn't have to die, and was still around to see today. I firmly believe he would be top 10, if he kept up with his amazing work ethic. Considering how far ahead he was than sasuke at that point in time.

I didn't even realize that this was a debate. Of course Haku was stronger than Sasuke at that time. It was Sasuke's very first mission as a real ninja and he was fighting a kekkei genkai user with insane talent! Haku was a pacifist and could have annihilated Sasuke and Naruto in seconds if he really wanted to.

That was Haku's fault then. The longer the fight went on the harder it became to fight against Sasuke because his Sharingan was awakening. That's why he tried to take out Naruto.
