so this is about Sentoumaru , i cant give you a video from youtube because i cant find him fighting against the strawhats , but , if you remember him fighting against luffy , he said that he was using haki against him , that means , that could be an advanced version of armament haki? what do u guys think? cause we only saw Sentoumaru doing it , right?

Wasn't he just bashing them with his axe? Does that need to be Advanced Haki?

Sentomaru's Busoshoku Haki makes it so it doesn't need to make contact with his opponent, the force of his Haki alone blows them away and does damage.

no , he was doing something with his hand , when luffy was attacking him he did a movement with his arm ... and he didn't touched luffy... in a dbz way like what goku did to chichi in the world tournament in db...

Sentomaru's Busoshoku Haki makes it so it doesn't need to make contact with his opponent, the force of his Haki alone blows them away and does damage.

yup , that's what i'm talking about , i think that's an advanced type of haki , cause we haven't seen any1 do that before and now... just sentomaru's , zoro is a different story and a complete other subject , just cause he uses swords , doesnt mean he has the same type of haki that sentomaru has if someone tries to bring zoro to the topic :p

I was just thinking about this the other day but didn't make a thread lol, its true though we've not seen anyone use haki like that BUT i would like to see someone else like this.

PS; Cbf, finding the video atm but whitebeard and the admirals kinda used it in marineford. Whitebeard: When akainus magma was coming towards him, he stopped it by flinching his wrist lol so effortlessly. And the admirals used it when they all together stopped the execution stand breaking down from whitebeards tremor.

Could just be the inconsistent depiction of haki pre ts, or could be a technique like the happo navy's techniques enhanced with haki.

Inconsistent? I get what you're saying, but before the timeskip, wasn't that EVERY instance of buso? Rayleigh, Sentomaru, the Admirals, the Kuja, etc. No one showed that darkening effect that came afterwards. Like you're saying, Oda either changed his mind or it's a variant of buso.

Considering it's been said that Oda makes up some of this as he goes along, the former wouldn't surprise me. One could also suspect that tekkai and Blackbeard being able to touch Ace were some of his earliest ventures into the idea.

It was insinuated that Garp hits Luffy with Haki, so not all pre ts showing of Haki were "Shockwave like"

I guess it should make sense that people can manipulate haki in different ways. I wouldn't be suprised if the happo navy techniques are related.

It's just projecting your CoA ahead of yourself. The three Admirals did it to shield the platform from Whitebeard's Quake and Rayleigh did it to an elephant.
