Devil Fruit users become weak/unable to use their ability when cuffed with seastone handcuffs.
But, throughout the series Luffy has been less and less affected by being in the water. In the beginning, just touching the water made him weak, but when he fought Hodi he stretched his arms very far into the sea and was unaffected by that.
I know, people are going to say that his body wasn't exposed, just his arm... But in terms of surface area exposed to water, his arm when stretched has much greater surface area than his body. And comparing that to the beginning, you can see that the effect of being in the sea has lessened.
Could it be possible to train yourself to be resistant to the seastone/sea? say, lie in a shallow pool of seawater on your back so you can still breath? Or have handcuffs and wear them for extended periods of time (obviously in a safe place).
If not, could a strong enough Armement Haki allow you to break out of the seastone cuffs? What are your thoughts
