As Yoshi started meditating, Iori was taking full note of his body language and started to feel his willpower grow..Yoshi's Haki was raw like it should be when it's just awakened.

Nicely done, now by keeping those thoughts in your mind for now, make your willpower your weapon, release it and form it into your armor, surround your body in your Haki and unleash your true power.

Taking in what Iori said, Yoshimitsu still thought about how he would achieve true peace within Amegakure no Sato and how he would protect everyone with this new sensation. Yoshimitsu then focused on the new sensation in his body, and how it flowed inside him. Yoshimitsu then wills it outside of his body where it lashed out at first, but then Yoshimitsu refocused his thoughts and his undying spirit willed the sensation to seep out of him. Yoshimitsu then creates a penguin replica with the newfound sensation.

Forget about the above, I was told by the Supernova Leader that Apprentices don't have access to Busoshoku Haki yet, you would only be able to have access to the updated one and it is not appproved yet, so when the updated versions are approved I will teach you Busoshoku Haki.

So by maintaining those thoughts and images in your mind, I want you to start concentrating on your haki, it is still raw, therefore these thoughts of peace and freedom is needed to sort of kick start your Haki, soon you would master it and would be able to switch your Haki on and off like a light switch, but for now you will proceed to focus your haki into your surroundings, so that you can feel every presence around you...

Yoshimitsu listens to Iori speak and then tells him to feel his surroundings with Haki. Thinking about peace, wanting to achieve greater strengths to protect those around him, and his clan leader he wants to impress, he felt a sensation inside him; Haki. He took control of this sensation and willed it outside of his body and it began touching trees, plants, and animals. Yoshimitsu could feel everything around him and it painted a picture inside his mind.
