[Spoilers] haki overusage

If there something that is over used right now in One Piece would be Haki. During the era where Luffy was about to enter the grand line if you had a devil fruit you were considered invincible. But on the 1st half of grand line, if you were logia you were the invincible one no matter which fruit type user you were facing.

1. On the New World if you are a logia and you are up against someone who has great mastery of haki then you're screwed.

2. The over usage of it has made me see that you can do badass things even without a devil fruit just only if you have haki, examples include Garp, Vergo ( god..his full body haki is soooo brilliant), Zero ( he can cut anything now, even Diamond Jozu... XD), etc..

Overused is a completely wrong word to use. It's an essential ability for the New World. Forget that Grand Line crap, this is the big leagues.

Not exactly the same you know, every ninja in Naruto Is born able to use chairs like a latent ability but haki is unlocked... like a MS.

Most people assume that most people use Haki.

Like that one guy who used Haki axe to hit a some-guys back, which broke in the process.

Turns out it was a devil fruit, that overpowered that Haki.

Even gear two luffy beat 2 Haki users (Hancock sister).

I'm sorry to tell you but Haki is essential for survival in the New World and the only way to fight some characters. Haki is not overused at all, I guess the reason why you made this thread is because you're unable to adapt to change (more badass and stronger characters, new better and cooler techniques etc.) and don't like change.

Just accept the fact Haki is essential, without it everyone would be dead and time skip would be pointless. Haki would only be overused if everyone could use it from the get-go (only the M3 can as of now. Hardly overused) or in every single attack. But it's not. It's not even used in half of the moves or move sets we see during combat.

Logias are not screwed if their opponent has a mastery of haki, it's not like having haki just drains their abilities...All it does is allow you to touch them

Now back to topic, do know why Sanji hasn't won a fight ever since he entered the new world? And plz don't include non cannon episodes and fillers....

Im willing to go as far to say that Roger had no devil fruit. Shanks was able to stop the war and most fear him. He made Yonko with out devil fruit and with one hand so why cant roger have no devil fruit.

Geez then read other paragraphs than the 1st one. If haki is not overused then tell me do you think there is someone with a gun or a sniper who can't use haki? Look at Van Auger, Yassop, Ben Beckman, I bet using haki on bullets is common in NW. No wonder why Borsalino was scared sh!t after Beckman pointed a gun at him.... and now you think khaki is not overused?

first of all a random pirate on Tashigi's level wont defeat Kizaru with a simple Haki bullet (Ben Beckman might), there are different levels of Haki, for example we can assume as far as Haki is concerned that Tashigi is a relative fodder to (for example) Fuji's observation haki or Garp's armament haki

and no I do not think it is overused, the NW was described as hell so it is only natural that it is one level aboce the first half of the GL jist like that was a level above East Blue ... ie: DF's are rare -> DF's are common, Haki Rare -> DF's are common, Haki is common, HH is relatively rare

I don't really agree with the 'if you are Logia against somebody with mastery of haki your screwed' bit.
In the end you would have to also take into consideration what Logia it is and who is using it.
I mean, look at Sakazuki vs Vergo.
But, I love BH. Its one of my favorite combat styles in OP.

This plus that was Rayleigh's intention too. He wanted to teach Luffy haki so he can survive in the New world.
