I thought Weevil was too stupid to use Haki so he uses brute strength to smash people?

Intelligence is never a concern when it comes to haki, it doesn't take a smart ass to understand it's concept. Further, you don't even need any prior knowledge on haki to awaken it. All you need is "innate potential" and Weevil apparently has it tons if not more.

Stated absolutely nowhere. The only “innate potential” of Haki is Supreme Haki which is considered rare. Observation and Armament Haki are trained for and requires some type of prior knowledge.
