I just started watching this. I'm now on episode 4 and so far I like this anime. Have any of you have heard about it or have watched it? If you have heard of it, did you like it?

It's actually my favorite manga at the moment. Itagaki (who you'll see later) is arguably my favorite character, but the current fight going on in the manga is really interesting.

That's correct. Hajime No Ippo is currently on chapter 1052 (translated), but I think it's up to the 1070s in terms of untranslated chapters. It's one of the longest spanning series I've ever read. I've been following it since 2010.

Dang! I don't think I would be able to catch up with the manga. Is the anime still going to be continuing airing since there is a lot of manga chapters?

I think that, as of right now, the Anime is up to chapter... 400 or 500? The anime won't be caught up for a good year or so, unless the most recent season has a much faster pace than the others.
