I can rock a little on the chin, and some to the sides. As for the head, I prefer now I guess a medium cut. Unfortunately I can never be man enough to rock the manstache.

Gel hurts my head. X_X. I uses it to straighten out my hair , and then washed it off..but the hairs were just killing me when I moved my hair around.



And doesn't hurt when you wash the gel off?

Depends on the gel you use, I use Lynx or as its called in the states Axe gel. Another alternative is hair spray to style it.

Gel is terrible! I have super thick, dark hair that curls and the gel just makes me feel like I'm pulling my hair into a tight bun.

Humidity makes it worse, but usually I leave it be. I only used gel once for a big event. Never again. I stopped fighting it. I now have dark hair that brushes my shoulders and curls at the ends, bangs included. lol I always look like I just got out of bed. My hair is ruthless.

No gel at all. Just a shower and rustle my hair: spiky curls.

lol when mine was cut short and layered I had that trouble. Spent most of my days wearing baseball caps or winter hats (season depending). I'm growing it out so I can just put it in a ponytail like I did as a little girl.

I prefer a girl with a good hairstyle. My girlfriend's hair is wrapped into a bun and it looks really cute; although her hair isn't even hat long.

I also have a small goatee like a few strands lol, but it fits me

When we are desperate. Hair spray didn't do anything to make my hair stay put and look sleek. My hair's a monster that keeps expanding in the humidity. lol it was actually one of my girl friends that told me to try gel.

I just realised I am having a conversation about hair styles on the internet. One of the more weird times....meh.

lol it's not harming your masculinity. Guys take care of themselves just as much as girls, it's just many shallow girls don't realize that.

It's risky because I used to bleach it blonde and was told it can be damaging with a straightener. Once it fully grows out, I may consider that.
