[Theory] Hagoromo's Third Eye is Sasuke's Rinnegan

We also see here that Hagoromo indeed has Sasuke's Rinnegan. Just Look at the Tomoe.

Now I suspect that Hagoromo has Sasuke's Rinnegan on his forehead. This is because he gave Sasuke that specific Rinnegan yet Hagoromo's two eye sockets are already occupied with regular Rinnegan. So where does he keep his third Rinnegan, the Tomoe Rinnegan?

The answer is obvious: his forehead! Where else. It can't be in his left eye because that is just a regular Rinnegan. It can't be in his right socket, because that is also just a regular Rinnegan.


Also, look at the scan, the Tomoe Rinnegan is right above his head, juxtuposed between the left and right positions of the regular Rinnegans

Hagoromo's tomoe Rinnegan comes from his Moon Seal.


That is how Sasuke obtained his Tomoe Rinnegan.


Why didn't Sasuke obtain the regular Rinnegan? Because he didn't go through the same steps that Madara did.


Why doesn't Madara have Tomoe Rinnegan? because he never had the Moon Seal.



Hagoromo is special in the sense that he has regular Rinnegan and Tomoe Rinnegan.




I also suspect that Tomoe Rinnegan can cast COAT.

You clearly see he uses Yin +Yang + Tomoe Rinnegan to cast COAT. Look at the Yin/Yang symbol in the tomoe rinnegan.

This. That symbol is supposed to represent the power of the juubi and yin-yang. It's not supposed to be a picture of his third eye. If your recall before the war arc, the juubi eye we knew didn't have 9 tomoe.

You only get the third eye when you get close to the moon, then he would have had the same exact one as Madara and Kaguya. How else would Madara have read this on the tablet? Alternately why would madara who awakened the same eyes as the sage, have a different 3rd eye than him?
