I really think that now Obito is almost dead, Hagoromo's brother will appear and bestow a great power upon him (or at least enough to keep him alive for a short while longer so that he can explain a few of the unexplored past events). I have no proof or evidence of foreshadowing but I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be true.

I know there isn't any evidence, but I can't help but compare the facts that we don't have a clue of how Obito would've turned out without Madara's (and perhaps Kaguya's) influence in addition to what kind of person Hagoromo's brother was.​

I wouldn't be surprised. If Kishi kept him alive all this time, then surely he has one more purpose.

But Kamui + another powerup would make him invincible.

I hope so. I like Obito. Madara spied on him and preyed upon him just like Orochimaru did the same to Sasuke. Both of them were young and impressionable and were warped by other peoples ideals or lack thereof. If Sasuke deserves a chance at redemption so does Obito.

I don't see why Kishi has kept him alive so long after the bijuu were extracted if he doesn't have some other purpose.

I think Madara looks more like Hagaromo's brother in the 'perfect' state he is in now, look at that scan. Hagaromo clearly doesn't have that Loreal hair.. Idk a lot of fishy stuff going on..

Obito dead Madara was not going to reward Him by keeping Him alive, Why would He? You never leave an Enemy alive to attack your back. Mandra got attacked by Black Zetsu who was part of Madara will. Now Black Zetsu belong to Kaguya now.
