Hagoromo was Ten tails Host. Databook just expand on order of manga events
Hello guys, I just want to keep it short and clear, because I don;t have a lot free time to stay here.
The manga version:
1. Kaguya casted IT to regain chakra then merged with God Tree
2. Hagoromo and Hamura fought Ten tails which is God Tree merged with Kaguya
3. Hagoromo and Hamura won battle making Ten tails into core which attract everything making moon
4. Hagoromo sealed Ten tails in himself becoming it's host
5. Hagoromo spread chakra to mankind
6. Hagoromo extracted ten tails separating body from chakra beforehand
7. From the chakra with use of COAT Hagoromo made Tailed beasts while the body was hurled in space creating moon.
8. Hagoromo dies(his body)
The databook version:
1. Hagoromo and Hamura fought Ten tails which is God Tree merged with Kaguya
2. Hagoromo and Hamura win battle making Ten tails into core which attract everything making moon
3. Hagoromo spread chakra to mankind
Extra info:
One of symbols at the databook scan means that character was host. I can not remember which but check it out to prove that databook doesn't contradict the manga.
Lacking element to connect both versions as one:
1. Hagoromo was Rinnegan user and mastered Rinnegan so he was capable of summoning Ten tails or Gedo Mazou from the moon if needed
2. Hagoromo knows about IT and he mentioned Kaguya casted IT on people to get chakra back then merged with Tree to attack her sons
3. To dispel IT Hagoromo himself explained that bijuu chakra and Rinnegan was required.
4. Kurama stated that Hagoromo survived Bijuu extraction due to Gedo mazou strong life force or at least his death was delayed thanks to it.
Connecting all dots and mentioned above points into one version we can say that:
1. Kaguya casted IT to regain chakra then merged with God Tree
2. Hagoromo and Hamura fought Ten tails which is God Tree merged with Kaguya
3. Hagoromo and Hamura won battle making Ten tails into core which attract everything making moon.
4. Later on Hagoromo found out that Ten tails chakra is needed to dispel IT
5. Hagoromo breaks seal and summons Ten tails as first person then seal it in himself while Hamura is on moon or ready to leave soon.
6. Hagoromo using Rinnegan and his host's powers dispel IT from the people while also reshape the word with Nunoboko sword.
7. Hagoromo spread chakra to mankind, Hamura leaves to the moon.
8. Hagoromo extracted ten tails separating body from chakra beforehand
9. From the chakra with use of COAT Hagoromo made Tailed beasts
10. Hagoromo lives for a while due to Gedo mazou strong life force.
11. Hagoromo removes Gedo Mazou from himself sending it back to the moon, sealing it in the moon. (Maybe Hamura took care of it once it was on the moon)
12. Hagoromo dies(his body)
