Itachi has nothing on Hagoromo, his Genjutsu has no effect, Amaterasu got blown away by Shinra Tensei or absorbed
Sussano, Yasaka Magatama easily destroyed by TSB

Itachi's only hope is Totsuka and Yata Mirror. First weapon wielded by Itachi is too slow and it is not even stated that it can pierce anything so bascially TSB wall/shield stop it.

The only problem get Yata Mirror which even considering all hype as true requires Itachi's reaction time to expand to all 360 degrees to shield him from all direction so Hagoromo blitz him easily by himself or via TSB.

If by miracle Itachi made it in time, then Hagoromo will simply outlast him and this is only scenario with crap hyperbole of the spirit weapons included.

else Yin-Yang release ends Itachi, which most likely does.

-The Orb of Chibaku Tensei is cut apart via Totsuka, which can cut down any enemy.

-Spirit Weapons aren't Ninjutsu, so Onmyoton won't negate them.

Rikudo Sennin doesn't stand a chance. Its only mid-high because Itachi has a stamina problem, make him an Edo Tensei and its a low diff stomp.

I think it was made pretty clear in the manga that itachi is superior to hagoromo,

yata mirror deflects and throws back all of hagoromos attacks right back at him, GG
totsuka sucks him in and seal him, GG
tsukuyomi is said to unbreakable, so hagoromo gets mind raped by that as well, which is also a GG,
KA also one-shots Hagoromo, so does Izanami, if hagoromo doesnt accept that itachi is unbeatable,

hagoromo stands no chance at all, hes a good tier below itachi
