[Theory] Hagoromo & Sasuke's Talk

A few days ago I created a theory that explains what I think will happen in the future with Sasuke and Naruto, and it ends with Sasuke dying for the peace he believes in. The link to this theory can be found above this text block for those that want to read it and haven't done so already. Now, this theory I will talk about what Sasuke and Hagoromo talked about off screen that we weren't allowed to see, and this will also be the reason for Sasuke's ultimate decision.

Now, we know that Hagoromo talked with both Naruto and Sasuke and we know what he discussed with Naruto. However, Naruto had problems fully understanding Hagoromo because of his complex speech and because of that Naruto was probably not able to get all the information Hagoromo said. However, Sasuke is smarter than Naruto and most likely understood what Hagoromo was saying and probably got more information out of him. But before we go into that, I would like to point something very important about Sasuke. He said he wanted to fully understand everything and make a choice for himself. He did get a lot of information from Hashirama, but he would be able to get even more from Hagoromo.

Now, we can get back to Hagoromo.

A majority of the fanbase has asked; "Why did Hagoromo bring up things like his brother if he weren't going to say anything else about them?". I think that the reason he did that was because if we were given that information now, we would be easily able to see how the manga will end, so Kishi hid it from us by introducing Sasuke. Sasuke said he wanted to understand everything, and I think he has gotten all the information he needs now from Hagoromo. Throughout the entire series, Naruto has both said himself and been shown that he rarely understands how he does things. He is a person that rather does things based on his feelings without fully understanding what he is doing. Sasuke on the other hand is the opposite, he wishes to understand everything and then act based on that information. Hagoromo entrusted peace and the future to both Naruto and Sasuke, not just one of them.

I think that Sasuke has now and will be the only one that will fully understand how to obtain peace, but Naruto is the one that will be the one to go through with the peace and lead it because Sasuke isn't fit for that. Now, the theory I liked to above here states that Sasuke dies because he wants it and its the way he wishes to bring peace. That still stands, and that is why I say that Sasuke will understand the way to peace and will sacrifice himself for that. While Naruto will lead that peace created by Sasuke. Sasuke will create the peace, Naruto will lead it. Power creates something, Will leads something. Sasuke is the power, Naruto is the will. Now, the things I think; Hagoromo told Sasuke:

Manga and Sasuke's character says that he wishes to act on the information he has. That is what he's done his entire life. The information he had said that Itachi was a bad guy, so he focused on killing him. Then he got more information that said Konoha and Danzo was the bad guys, so he focused on killing off those. Now he has info about the real "bad guys" which is the Shinobi System as a whole. Certainly, Uchiha's act based on their emotions, just as any human would do. But, Sasuke has only done so based on the information he has and he has changed his goal when he is given more info. That was obviously a mistake by him, so now he wants to understand everything so that he will not do that mistake again.

cause uchiha do it doesnt mean naruto doesn't. naruto charges in with whatever is on his heart. whether it be the right or wrong choice. sage didnt call naruto dumb but naruto is still stupid.

Well, I am a fan of Sasuke myself. I don't want to see him die in the manga, but I am simply making theories for fun right now. Another thing, it also fits Sasuke's character from what he commented in the start of part 2 about killing Itachi. He said he doesn't care about what happens to him as long as Itachi dies, and when you think about it, Itachi was his goal at the time. His goal now is peace, so the same most likely applies here. Sasuke doesn't care one bit what happens to him as long as peace is achieved and his goal is achieved.

Well, I am a fan of Sasuke myself. I don't want to see him die in the manga, but I am simply making theories for fun right now. He wishes to change the world, to correct all the mistakes of the previous generations that led the world into his current state. The current state is war, and the opposite is peace. He seeks revenge for his clan, family and Itachi through creating the world where what happen to them will not happen to anyone else. That is peace.

I seriously doubt that, that doesn't even make any sense.

If the sage knew a way to bring peace he would have done it during his life time and things wouldn't have gotten this bad, he trusted his son Ashura to figure it out and Indra betrayed him because he didn't get what he wanted.

That's why he gave Sasuke power and helped him because he made the mistake of trusting all his power to one person last time and that's how things got this way.

If there is to be peace, Naruto is going to have to come up with his own way.


This looks more like a Sasuke will be the real hero in the end theory then anything else.

He said he wanted to understand everything and make decisions based on that. He also said he wanted to become Hokage and fix the problems the previous Hokage's left behind. Hashirama and Madara was the two people who created the current Shinobi system, the village system and the type of system that breeds war and is also to blame for what happen to the Uchiha. Tobirama did mistakes on how he should control this new system and so did Hiruzen. Sasuke wishes to correct those mistakes, in other words he wishes to correct the Shinobi system.

I totally agree with you but I think that both Sasuke and Naruto will probably die.

Yeah. The child of propechy is suppose to find peace. If Sasuke was the one to come up with the answer, the prophecy wouldn't even be relevant...

To make changes, Sasuke needs to become Hokage, but do you really think Sasuke will become Hokage? Still, Sasuke's goal never was to find peace, even if he wants to change Konoha's shinobi system. You don't even know how he wants to change it.

As far as I know, "The Child of Prophecy" was only the one that would lead the world into eternal peace.

I seriously doubt that someone who is supposed to be the savior of the world is going to actually rule over the world or anything like that.

The prophecy says that the Child of Prophecy will change the world, that's why people keep sacrificing themselves for Naruto's sake.
