Did Hagoromo lied about Infinite Tsukuyomi?

He said that once everyone is connected to the tree a new fruit would grow and that was the point of it. But we just found out the that the point of Infinite Tsukuyomi is to create an army of zetsu. What do you think gives?

Don't u understand what the sage meant? If all the chakra is connected to the tree then the fruit will be born, meaning everyone will have to be caught in the I.T including madara, nardo, sausage , useless Sakura and kakashi too...

Sage meant that if all the chakra becomes one, the fruit will appear again, meaning everyone will have to die cause everyone has chakra in NV now.

Just like the chakra of all the tailed beasts is required to resurrect the Ten Tails?

I don't think the tree actually requires the chakra possessed by humans in order to produce a fruit. The tree does precisely what all of the other tailed beasts do... gather energy from nature.

Of course, chakra in the naruto universe has been shown to violate the laws of thermodynamics - chakra can be created (though probably not destroyed), has been shown to increase entropy, and just seems to be "green rocks" that make the plot work.

That said... one has to wonder... if the Tailed Beasts were created from the chakra of the Ten Tails... then where did the chakra that was distributed amongst the people come from?
