If you were actually convinced that the character was real then you must be stupid :L

I'm speaking about the CLAN, not that character in particular.
I just found that character as reference. A character that was in a website since 2012 and how strange that kishi actually used that name for a clan.

NO!
A fodder clan? Wouldn't the Uzumaki fit that category? At first, we didn't know anything about them and we barely thought of them as relevant. But now that the three strongest clans were fighting against each other(Uchiha, Senju and Hagoromo), we still don't know if they're alive or not. We know the Hagoromo clan were FEARED by the Uchiha and Senju to actually go to war against them and exterminate them.
To me, this will be explained later by the flashbacks.

Totally agree..I dont think its a fodder clan what would be the purpose of kishi showing a useless clan in a highly important flashback?

Fake. Haha, Wind, Water, Earth, Wood, Eight Gates, Byakugan and "Summoned Tails". Has fanmade written all over it and not even close to believable.

However, I might have to use the site next time I create a character profile on an RP site. Looks so clean. :p

Hagoromo Gitsune is actually a character from Nura: The Demon Capital (That looks very much like that character u linked)...... and I thinks that name is commonly used by fully matured Kitsune yokai (Demon foxes).

As I'm sure the symbol is reference to wings or birds, so believe the Hampton might have used techniques evolving around birds or wind possibly.
