hagoromo clan and the hermit of six paths?

on the last chapter we found out the sages name was hagoromo and on chapter 622 page 5 we learn that the there was also a clan called hagoromo (cant link on a ps3 sorry) could there be a relation please tell me your thoughts

uh, Hagoromo is his name not his clans name. Ōtsutsuki is his surname =D

i know but i still think that theres more to it i mean y tell us about the clan if there not relevant some how also his name and there surname being the same is to big a coincidence for me:'(
