One question... If Hagoromo wanted to erase Hamura existence from history and go down as the only savior of the world... why would he tell Narto and Sasuke about him?

That's a pretty good theory. Really good, I appreciate the time you took. Also adding that RDR of the last mission in the title, how the the criminal is always considered the bad guy when he's good. Like the sage considered a good guy all time while he might be a disaster.

Another thing to point out is that the Rinnegan is an Outer Path Doujūtsu (hence the Outer Path powers), Outer Path is the buddhist heresy of relying on borrowed/stolen power to achieve enlightenment.

Even if Hagoromo was bad and tried to rule the world ... he will die and he will not live for ever .

Thats why some people become Immortal ..... to live for ever and rule for ever .

You must be registered for see images

So Hagoromo must become immortal to live for ever to rule for ever .

In the Tale of The Bamboo Cutter ..... Kaguya left the Elixir of life when she left to the Moon .

Going to the Moon is similar to being sealed in the Moon .

Elixir of life

You must be registered for see images

Legends , Myths , Religions .... etc are all similar

Take Zeus as example

In Greek : His name is Zeus

In Rome : His name is Jupiter

In Norse : His name is Thor

........................

That goes for almost everything .... it is like looking at the same Sun but naming it

In a different name .

Astrologers say Hermes is Moses

And I already explained that Moses is Hagoromo

As you saw in that previous image .... Hermes and Thoth drunk the Elixir of life

In other words ..... both Hermes and Thoth represent Hagoromo

Lets see what Thoth is doing

You must be registered for see images

And his similarity to Hagoromo

You must be registered for see images

If either Hermes or Thoth drunk the elixir of life ..... thats mean Hagoromo did that too .

Which means Hagoromo is already immortal and ruling this world as he wish .... in other words

He is a dictator .

Or he is not immortal .... he was planning for becoming immortal .... like planing for giving birth

To another fruit and gain the ability of immortality from it .

No matter how I look at it ...... Hagoromo is a bad guy .... even if the manga consider him as

A good guy ...... I personally don't .

The Last movie is a potential Spoiler for the manga's future or it marks the end of the manga.

In, the movie; Naruto's left hand is bandaged where the Sun Seal once was.

Earlier, most of us thought that after Kaguya's sealing; the seal lost it's purpose and became dormant; until Kaguya would rise again.

But, we know that both Naruto and Sauske lost their seals when sealing Kaguya.

And these seals reappeared in Hagoromo's possession.

That smile when he gets the seals back.

If we do assume that Hagoromo is evil; then there is nothing to stop Hagoromo as the only things that could seal him; Moon and Sun seals are in his possession.

Hagoromo stole Hamura's power to get Kaguya's power; so it's logical that Hagoromo could be sealed by the same seals.

So, how can they seal Hagoromo ?

Well; there could be a Third Seal; i.e; the Earth Seal in the Possession Of Hamura.

The logic behind the claim dates a long time back given by two theories :-

If Hamura had the Earth Seal; then he will obviously give it to Naruto to ensure Hagoromo's sealing.

After the sealing and Hagoromo's defeat; Naruto has no choice but to seal the Earth Seal; so he won't get corrupted by it and go down the same pathway as Hagoromo.

Which brings us back to Naruto's Left hand being bandaged in the movie.

Don't forget. there still got six path Tools..................... which Ten Ten found it.

The author quite interesting, purposely leave that to let us think. XD

Excellent theory! It's been a while since I read such a good one. In fact I had also written two theories about hagoromo and him being the only one who can potentially bypass his tools' seals . But you took it some steps further, especially the connection you made to te Hyuga ancestos was ingenious, well done!

On a side note but wouldn't it be nice for Hagoromo to take part in the last movie as a dictator?

Amazing theory!
I read it all and it was an exceptional read.

It's also possible that some connected with Hagoromo via Ninshuu and it gave access to his memories, similar to this.[1][2]
Perhaps he then had to silence those who knew the truth.
Also, about this part, the ones who knew the truth could have been the Uzumakis, so there was a need for them to vanish from the sight.

I briefly looked into some Taoism yesterday and I think what I found out, debunks this theory. Yin and yang are both sun and moon. And since the theme of this story has been about brothers stealing or taking from each other in order for one brother to achieve greater power... I think it holds suit for Hamura and Hagoromo. I think the cycle of hatred began with the sage and his brother. I think Hagoromo stole Hamura's powers somehow and even let him die. I think there was a chance for Hamura to be saved, but Hagoromo decided to let him die and steal his powers. Think "The Lion King" when Scar let Mufasa fall off the cliff. He did so, so that he could take his place as king. Well, Hagoromo didn't want to share power or authority with his brother. And to be honest, I think there's something about Hamura, that Hagoromo envied. Could Hamura have been his mother's favorite? Possibly, but I think it's something else... can't put my finger on it.

Personally, I'd like it if it was determined that Hagoromo hated his brother, just because he was born evil, rather than an event happening that turned him evil. And if this is the case, how can the cycle of hatred be broken, when people are born evil? I guess this would play to the theme that Naruto is a "savior". But enough about that...

What do you guys think, overall about this?

You did the opposite of debunking, you actually added more evidence to this theory.

Hagoromo=Light from Death Note

Well, you may say that. Both started off with good intentions; but they became obsessed with power and brought forth destruction.
