Could it be this guy? He's like Kaguya. Byakugan with a Rinnegan for the third eye, kinda like Kaguya's Shinju Eye.

I was actually assuming he and Hamura were born under the similar circumstances as Anakin Skywalker, no father and all.

Dat sig tho.

OT: I kinda doubt they had a father, Hagaromo barely knew why she had such a change of heart after consuming the fruit, who knows, maybe it had other effects on her.

You know what would have been nice? If Kaguya had actually told her story. I think that's why I was so disappointed in her, really. If she'd talked, maybe we could have known the circumstances of Hagaromo and Hamura's birth. And a lot of other things.

It seems weird that she even had children, considering she'd put everyone in IT. I'm thinking it was some mystical baby-making or something, because it would be weird for her to have relations with a human, considering that they feared her, unless she became pregnant before the IT. Or the father was another non-human. So maybe, but I doubt we'll be told.

For some reason I think it has something to do with the fruit. But it would have been nice if she explained her back story. It seems like kishimoto shows all the same repetitive unnecessary flashbacks except for the ones we want. Replace 3 or 4 Rin scenes with Kaguyas and I'd be a little less disappointed in her character. But that's just me

She wasn't feared until after eating the fruit.

fixed for you

@ bold part is your answer. It is also greatly possible that she was pregnant while reaching for forbidden fruit. Her best trigger would be loss of her lover in unending wars

Lord Teuchi abandoned Hagaromo and Hamura when they were young because of how pathetic and weak they were; their jutsus and skills were trivial and abysmal. Legend says Teuchi runs a business somewhere in the country.

It is possible that that being is Hagormo's father. To understand why this might be the case we have to look at the myth on which Kaguya is based. Kaguya comes from the Japanese tale of the bamboo cutter where a couple find a you girl in a stalk of bamboo raise her, and eventually find that she was originally from the moon.

This Japanese story however is ultimate based on a Chinese story where Kaguya is replaced with the moon goddess Chang'e. Though the stories involving these two are slightly different they both involve the celestial woman ending up on the moon. In the story of Chang'e there was an archer named Houyi who saved the world when 10 suns rose in the sky and he shot down 9 of the suns, leaving only 9 and saving the world. Eventually he married Chang'e, but she drank too much of the elixir of life and floated to the moon.

The design of person shown seems to be very different than that of Hagoromo so I don't believe that it is supposed to be him, though the design could be meant as a metaphor. However, with Kaguya representing the moon and the "Houyi" character representing the sun I think there is a possibility that he could show up. We still haven't met Hamura and maybe when he shows up he will explain the the ultimate fate of their father, if he existed. Also the constant dichotomy of sun and moon, yin and yang makes sense and has been present throughout the manga and I wouldn't be surprised if Kishi took the dichotomy as far back as Kaguya.

We could see the progression of the sun and moon seals that goes back to the original users of Chakra Kaguya and "Houyi." Where Kaguya originally had the moon, Houyi the Sun. The passed their marks on to their children with Hagoromo getting the Sun and Hamura the moon. Something happened to Hamura so he gave his mark to Hagoromo, and Hagoromo in turn passed it on to the reincarnations of his children Indra and Ashura.

It seems that their isn't much time left, but it is possible that Kishi can explain this stuff.

The guy behind appears when they use the sages technique, the same guy behind sasuke in this pic

Why have they not got a pic of the dude behind naruto?

I think that hagoromo's 'sons' are actually his son Indra and hamura's son ashura. Because only the sharingan can awaken to be a rinnegan correct?
And so I also think that hagoromo is on the 'Indra' side of the brothers ballence.

Nice Theory.
P.s Kaguya was said to have come from a far away land..
Would really love, it if Kishi had been more specific.
