Remember when Obi Wan said Luke's father is dead but actually meant the "old" Anikan is "dead" on the inside?
Well Hagaromo did his fair share of word twisting too.
See, the latest ch showed that Kaguya was the Juubi all along.
Kaguya( aka Shinju) ate her own Fruit and gained extreme power to stop the wars.
When Hagaromo said she came from a far away land to this one to eat the Fruit, he meant it metaphorically. Kaguya couldn't have physically from a far away place as she was actually the Shinju all along. She came from far away in terms of internal philosophy and ideology. That is what he meant.
Remember, Hagaromo himself said that words are up for interpretation based on perception.
