In the latest episode, Hagaromo said he was able to come out due to Hashirama and Madara and the Ten Tails coming together.

Then he said no, it was because of Indra and Ashura and the Kyuubi


Why is the Kyuubi's chakra in particular necessary to bring him out as opposed to any of the other Bijuu?

Kurama had the strongest attachment to Hagoromo, which also carries over to why he detested humans and was the "embodiment of hatred". Hagoromo probably knew he'd be the hardest to convert for the "blue-eyed boy" and thus chose him.

Chose him as what? I still don't get how that explains why is the Kyuubi necessary to draw him out. The Juubi is understandable

Chose him as a requirement, just like Minato and Kushina's chakra only came out after meeting certain requirements. You won't find a deeper answer than this that doesn't go into major assumption.

Kurama=hatred He was/is the strongest bijuu of them all & it seemed like the other bijuu knew it.. Shukaku hated him because of the tail factor. To the tail beast it would seem like it was established between them that the more tails they have, the stronger the bijuu.

(His sensory lvl's of hatred was second to none whilst why he (Naruto/Kurama) could sense evil intent in an enemy without them attacking)
