>1. The afflicted can only speak in third person. Lasts for seven turns. (2/7)

>6. The afflicted begins to believe they hold the power of a god in their hands. For two turns they are convinced that they might easily destroy the planet. They are unable to use techniques above 160 damage for this duration. (2/2)

Hawke spun around so fast he almost hit Isabella. Suddenly the prospect of violence seemed much more interesting than her. Once again he stretched out a hand and as if snatched by an invisible force the man's escape was interrupted and reversed as the tall thug tumbled through the tavern towards them. Anticipating the timing Hawke snatched the bottle of rum off the tabletop and broke the technique just as he rolled within range, swinging and breaking the container across the man's face to knock him out cold.

"Whoo!" Hawke hooted, punching the air victoriously with his arms. "Dog's a God, ladies!" He turned back to Isabella, looking like a more smug Russell Crowe asking whether she was entertained.

"You still into Arlessa, yeah? 'Cause Hawke's feeling like binge drinking and burning something down. You can have 'er."

( Tendō ) - Deva Path
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The Deva Path grants the user the ability to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. These gravity manipulating techniques, however, cannot be performed in rapid succession; the amount of time required to recharge after use varies depending on the scale of the technique used, five seconds being the basic minimum. The Deva Path also grants another ability: Chibaku Tensei which allows the user to create a huge makeshift terrestrial body from all the surrounding matter that is attracted to a black sphere released by this technique.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies with access to the Six Paths Ability.
( Bensho Ten’in ) - Universal Pull
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: The user is able to use Deva Path's gravitational abilities to pull something to them. The user will use his hands to focus the direction and the target his wishes to pull towards him. Unlike Shinra Tensei, this technique isn't an omnidirectional effect but rather a precise one. The user is able to pull anything he can perceive towards him. In certain uses, the user will be able to direct the pulled target as its being pulled into large arc-like movements, but will always end up pulling them towards him. The technique follows the same nature of Shinra Tensei but used on a focused manner and instead of pushing, pulling the enemy.
Note: Once used, takes 1 turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan Bios with the (Tendō) - Deva Path active

Maybe there was something larger at stake here. While drunken by the prospect of violence, Garrett would miss the two shadowy figures raising from the furthest corners of the room, opposite to the bar counter. Unconcerned by whom they might hit, they joined their hands together producing elemental blasts from their mouth.

The first figure would blast a great amount of fire from his gullet, creating a maelstrom that set the myriad of alcohol spillage and bottles across the room into a blazing inferno.

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

The second would inhale the oxygen out of the room to then blow it outwards with the rage of a tornado. The two blasts seemed to perfectly fuse with one another, fanning out the flames of the fire into a an explosive outburst of energy.

(Fūton: Atsugai) - Wind Style: Pressure Damage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user does the Ram handseal and inhales, kneading his chakra into his lungs, exhaling a huge blast of wind that levels anything in its path. Can cause major damage and requires a sufficient chakra level to perform. This large wind blast moves in tremendous speed and cannot be controlled. If the user gets caught in it, it will harm him also.

Isabella left out of her sit to join Garrett in the middle of the room, jumping atop of a table behind him, though her slightly inebriated state emboldened her to take extremely unnecessary risks in this battle. The chaotic nature of her new techniques would need to come through with this one attack, or both her and Garrett would be in a very very bad situation. With her dark blue eyes pulsating, Isabella expelled an abysmal amout of purple miasma outwards, and crossed her fingers as sanity drained out of her mind, -4 points, and case garrett witnesses the miasma, -5 from him as well. She does not look into Garretts eyes, standing back to back to him.

(Dōjutsu: Shinkaigan) – Eye Technique: Abyssal Eyes
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Shinkaigan (深海), or the Abyssal Eyes and the Eyes of the Abyss, is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the Voidseers. Two conditions must be met to awaken the Shinkaigan. The first is that one must become Void-touched; this is achieved when one becomes Void-touched. The second is by gaining sufficient knowledge of the Shinkaigan and the Voidseer’s innate abilities. This is a key characteristic of the Shinkaigan, noted by Solomon to be “eyes of knowledge” rather than “eyes of trauma,” making it distinct from the Sharingan. The Shinkaigan possesses a unique connection to the Void itself. Its abilities exist in both space and time separately. This comes to be because the Void exists both as a separate dimension and a state in time. Rewinding the clocks far enough would cause everything in the universe to eventually converge onto the Void. The Shinkaigan is the only way one can view the Void directly, peering into it to gain intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the universe as it is today. Without the Shinkaigan exposure to the Void and Shinkaigan Dōjutsu causes one to lose Sanity; though, like a double-edged sword, the Shinkaigan user also suffers a loss of Sanity. But because their eye allows them to perceive and cognize the Void differently from other humans, they lose Sanity at a slower rate. In the left eye the Shinkaigan allows the user to visually perceive lifeforce and lifecycles of anything, including inanimate objects. It derives this ocular power through the nature of the Void itself. The right eye allows the Shinkaigan wielder to view the Void as a physical space, perceiving it not as a point in time but a location. The wielder gains enhanced visual acuity, able to track targets at four times their speed. Though unlike other Dōjutsu it lacks the ability to perceive chakra. Activation of the Shinkaigan grants the user access to their Voidseer Dōjutsu, affording them the ability to use powerful temporal and spatial abilities.
Note: The user is able to passively activate the Shinkaigan after holding the Dōjutsu for one month.
Note: Gazing directly into the Shinkaigan causes a loss of 5 Sanity per turn unless the user also wields the Shinkaigan. Those who have completed Taijutsu training can avoid these effects by breaking eye contact with their opponent.

(Dōjutsu: Kirameku Fuka) – Eye Technique: Shimmering Depths (FIRE)
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60 (+Chaos) (80)
Description: This technique is the Shinkaigan’s basic spatial energy ability, used by the right eye and able to call energy directly from the Void to weaponize it. The energy manifests from the user’s eye with a mid-range reach; because the Void is inherently chaotic the energy can only take the form of a purple miasma, a mass of energy that seeks to consume and envelope its target. Because of its unpredictable nature, Shimmering Depths inherits random elemental weaknesses and strengths. It also gains a 33% chance to randomly increase its damage potential by nothing, 20, and 40 respectively. Experiencing Shimmering Depths directly, meaning sensing it through either one of the primary senses, or through an extrasensory means, causes one to suffer from a 5 Sanity reduction. Shimmering Depths can be used six times per battle, with a single turn between usage.

S&W Roll: Fire
Chaos Roll: +20

(Yikes! xD IT WORKED AHAH)

The chaotic technique pulled through. The Miasma was enhanced to a tier higher than A rank, meeting the combination strength wise, and acquired the strength and weaknesses of Fire, which would be neutral to one side of the elemental combination ( Fire ) and strong to the other side ( Wind ), giving it a slight elemental edge which allowed Isabella's Shimmering Depth to just barely pull through with a win, overpowering her enemies' techniques into a blast of purple energy, pushing the explosion to their side of the bar. Well... their side of the ruin that used to be a bar.

Sanity 92 - 4 = 88

Tier 1
  1. The afflicted is convinced that everyone around them is flirting with them, including their opponents. Lasts for seven turns. (6/7)
  2. Your character becomes afraid of heights. So much so that being ten or more meters above the ground reduces their concentration and makes hand seals take three times as long to use. Lasts for three turns. (1/3)
Tier 2
  1. The afflicted begins to believe someone is watching them from the shadows constantly. Lasts for seven turns. When below 80 Sanity this grows considerably worse, forcing the character to lash out and attack random targets on the battlefield every turn. (1/7)
After the elation that was winning her gamble, Isabella came back to her senses and realized how high she was. She squealed, dropping onto Garrett from off the table. Once on the ground again, she regained her composure, though she was apparently completly unware of their circumstances, where they were literally on the ground, with her on top of him. She whispered to him:

Why did a common thug that was bothering a barmaid and flirting with me had such powerful backup? There is something happening here that we don't know of. And there are more people in the shadows.

There was no one in the shadows. Everyone in the front side of the bar was dead. OR WERE THEY?!?!? They were.

Hawke was sprawled out on his back feeling a lot less divine than he had just a few moments ago. It had taken the duo less than five minutes of drunken antics to completely obliterate the world heritage tavern, a fact that Garrett was slowly coming around to regret. From his vantage point on the ground he had a great view of the burning, collapsing roof that framed the pandemonium of the Mangy Kitten. People were screaming, crying, begging for help under collapsed walls and furniture. Scuffles had broken out as panicked patrons clawed their way to the exit, leaving crumpled and bloody corpses to pile up on the now cracked floorboards. The feeling of Isabella's body pressing against his chest was actually rather comforting. It made him feel like he did not have to deal with the fallout of whatever had just happened.

"You know," Hawke offered with a sigh, furtively reaching for an intact bottle just outside his reach. His eyes had once again reverted to their less vibrant green color. "It used to be that you had plans, 'Bella, so why's it feel like you're on a bender for the hell of it?" He shot a meaningful look over at the still blazing corpses of their attacker. The smell of burnt flesh was pungent in the air, but if nothing else tearing off the roof had really improved the establishment's ventilation. Isabella's question was purposely ignored, as was the now clearly recognizable tinge of madness in her face. He pointedly avoided her gaze.

Tapping his heart with one finger, Hawke decided to share some middle-aged wisdom. "Dog's a dog. You know the vibe. Chasing tail and fuckin' up everybody's day." He then tapped his cheek and pointed at the bottle he had been reaching for. "If that's you too, then put some sugar on here and hand me that drink. We can tear the region a new asshole. It'll be like stealing candy from a million babies."

"But," he continued with narrowed eyes that now met hers directly, voice deathly serious. "If you're just blowing off steam then take some advice and get to blowing, yeah? One agent of chaos is enough for here, and those blue orbs of yours aren't just for fun like these are," referring to the mysterious purple of his own hidden eyes,

Hawke tapped the back of his head against the ruined floor and sighed resignedly. "When did it all get so complicated, huh? In the old days you and Madara would point at whatever and the rest of us would sic 'em." He shook his head. "Used to make sense."

Her eyes soften, the blue fire turning into the normal burgundy eyes she had grown accustomed to. For a moment, Isabella would forget the shadows around her, which definately held enemies ready to pounce ( They didn't, everyone was pretty much dead ). She rolled off Garrett and onto the cold hardwood floor, facing the open ceiling. The night was falling but swathes of orange and green still permeated the sky.

There are gods now. She said, overtly running from the core of Garrett's questions. "I'm not a God anymore"

Powers at play that we can't even comprehend. She continued, her hands almost touched her eyes, and the missing Mangekyo Sharingan she took pride in. "My abilities aren't sufficient anymore, I'm powerless"

Even Madara is just a pawn against these cosmic beings. She spat on the ground, but was unable to prevent her eyes from averting Garrett's own. "Madara broke me..." A single tear formed on her eyes, but was quickly snuffed out by her sleeve. She sat up, looking at Garret again.

If we can't defeat them.... yet ... then we have to make ourselves relevant enough to acquire as much information as we can. And, to do so, I choose to wreck havoc among this lands. And I don't mind a rough dog like you as a partner, Mr Wanted in the Land of Fire. That Brotherhood of yours sounds interesting. She smirked, but the corners of her eyes pleaded unconsciously. "... and I'm lost.... help me..."

Just a couple of old friends staring up at the encroaching evening sky; watching the black of night slowly overtake the vibrant hues of daylight. Hawke let Isabella air her feelings and doubts and remained silent even as relative silence descended upon the duo. The last of the Mangy Kitten's patrons had fled or knew well enough to keep their mouths shut - in more ways than once, Garrett was willing to wager. He looked sideways at the very human being lying next to him and felt his own humanity stir. There were times when women were something to nurture, not something to conquer, and for just a moment Hawke had seen a wholly different young woman next to him that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.

With another sigh the grizzled veteran sat up cross-legged, massaging a tender spot on his neck and feeling the weight of his years. "La-" he began, but quickly clamped his mouth shut. One pregnant pause later he tried again. "Don't sell yourself short, yeah? Something tells this here old-timer that you'll figure something out."

Hawke put both thumbs against the floor and slowly lifted himself into a handstand, shooting Isabella an upside-down smirk. "See, Uncle Hawke don't know much about no cosmic beings, but he does not know a thing or two about havoc." He took one hand off the ground and remained balanced on one thumb for a few seconds before letting himself drop down on his feet with a soft thump. "The western coast of the Haran Bay is rich country, and it juuust so happens to be under the boot-heel of a common acquaintance of ours." Garrett retrieved a scroll from his pack and scribbled a few quick words before putting it away again.

The old dog held out a hand for Isabella to take, helping her to her feet if she did so. "Can't promise you any information, but the Brothers will meet us North of here with torches and swimwear." The grin on Hawke's face was wolfish, hungry in the way his most well-worn facial expressions always were. "What do you say, 'Bella? Care for a little getaway to Fuging?"

Isabella looked up towards the darkening sky once more. She let out a small giggle at the so called "Uncle Garrett" 's two-one thumb headstand and rose to her feet.

Sound lovely. And I feel like wanton recklessness is just the thing I need!

She said, her face in a much better mood than before. She stepped outside of the tavern before turning her head back to Garrett.

Oh and one more thing... Don't call yourself uncle Hawke... That's just... So not cool.

She quipped, turning her smile into a side smirk.

Coming from here X

Storyboard Elements:

.Defend your employer from bandits B rank
==================================================================================

The salty tang of the sea clung to the air as Angel stood on the docks of Haesu. The once-proud fishing village was quieter than it should’ve been—boats swayed lazily against the tide, but few dared venture out to sea. The shattered ruins of the Bridge of the Unifiers loomed in the distance, skeletal remains jutting like broken teeth above the waves. It was a grim reminder of the Cataclysm, when the land itself seemed to tear apart, leaving Haesu clinging to survival on the water.

Angel adjusted the strap of his pack, the steel hilt of his blade glinting faintly under the rising sun. He had taken contracts before, but this one was different. The fishermen had sent for help—pleas scrawled in rough ink and sent upriver until they reached the right ears. Bandits and rogue ninja, exploiting the village’s vulnerability, were striking with ruthless efficiency. Nets slashed, boats burned, and sometimes… men never returned from the waters.

As he approached the fisher council, a small group of weathered men and women gathered near a hut patched with driftwood, Angel noted the fear etched into their faces. These were not warriors—they were survivors.

“You’re Angel, the one who answered our call?” an older man asked. His face was leathered from sun and sea, and his right hand shook faintly as he leaned on a gnarled cane.

“I am,” Angel said. His voice was calm but carried an edge of steel. “Tell me everything.”

The elder explained: the bandits had grown bold, no longer content with ambushing traders. Now they demanded tribute—fish, tools, even children taken as hostages. And the rogue ninja… they were worse. Outcasts, mercenaries who knew how to strike unseen, making the villagers feel like prey in their own homes.

“They strike from the ruins,” a younger fisherman spat, his fists clenched. “The broken bridge is their nest now. They come across the waters like shadows.”

Angel listened, his sharp gaze flicking toward the dark silhouette of the shattered bridge. It was more than a ruin—it was a fortress, offering high ground and vantage over the waterways.

“I’ll need a boat,” Angel said simply.

That night, Angel drifted toward the bridge in silence, his small skiff gliding across the moonlit water. Every creak of the oars was swallowed by the vast emptiness of the sea. As he neared the bridge, the ruins loomed larger, the broken arches casting jagged shadows on the waves.

He heard them before he saw them. Laughter, rough and careless, carrying over the water. Bandits, drunk on stolen goods and power. Then the lighter tread of disciplined steps—the ninja, disciplined predators among scavengers.

Angel’s hand rested on his blade, but he didn’t move yet. He studied them. The bandits’ campfires burned in the hollows of the ruined stone, their flickering light revealing crude barricades and stolen fishing nets hung like trophies. The rogue ninja moved differently—silent, deliberate, patrolling the edges. Their eyes scanned the horizon, searching for threats.

Angel smirked. They weren’t expecting one man.

He struck just before dawn. Silent as the tide, Angel climbed the jagged stone of the bridge’s remains, his dark cloak blending with shadow. A bandit leaned against the rock, yawning—and Angel’s blade flashed once. The man crumpled without a sound.

From there, chaos spread like fire. Angel moved fast, precise. Bandits scrambled awake, shouting, grabbing rusted blades. A rogue ninja lunged at him, steel whispering through the air. Angel parried, the clash of their blades ringing sharp in the dawn. Their duel was a storm of speed and violence, sparks scattering like fireflies in the dim light.

“You fight well,” the ninja hissed, eyes narrowed.

“I fight for those who can’t,” Angel growled, shoving him back with a sudden surge of strength. the ninja would exhale and release a massive flame ball towards him, Angel was surprised this one of the motley crew knew ninjustu.

(Katon: Hiendan) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet(Mission Ninja)
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

Angel would sigh he was disappointed that he was about to let such talents go to waste though he didn't want to give the man one last chance before his new dawn to the afterlife, quickly he would do a bird handseal and would make his entire body out of steel with his hands now being formed into the end of great axes;so when the dragon fireball wouldn't faze him and he would continue making him think he had won.

(Kyosei Kōton no Jutsu) - Greater Steel Release Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: A bigger version of Basic Steel Release where the user will do one hand seal (Bird) and produce medium to large sized objects, pillars, weapons, etc, made of black steel, from their body or from the earth.

The ninja would cowl and hiss manically with laughter until the blaze has exploded and past Angel his face turned to grimace, bursting through the flames it would be the worst looking nightmare the ninja ever seen and this was his last vision before Angel took the deadbeats head.

By the time the sun rose fully, the bridge was silent again. Angel stood alone amid the wreckage, the sea breeze tugging at his cloak. Bandits lay scattered, their reign broken. The villagers would be safe—for now.

But Angel knew this was just one battle in a greater war. Haesu was a place of scars, living in the shadow of the Cataclysm. Military patrols beyond Solana’s Great Wall might claim they protected the people, but true safety was fragile, always bought with blood.

Angel stepped back into his boat, pushing off from the cursed ruins. The fishermen would see their oppressors gone, their nets returned to the sea. But Angel would not linger. He was a blade in motion, a wanderer bound to the call of the next village, the next fight.

And somewhere beyond the horizon, he knew greater storms were waiting.

This post marks the start of a mission (and mission arc)
Story Elements:
  • Trail an individual without being detected (2)
  • Run a thorough background investigation on someone (2)

Part 1: Echoes of the Rose

The rain had stopped at dawn, but Haesu still carried the sheen of it. Stones along the quay were dark and wet, ropes steamed where they lay coiled, and from the forge quarter came that faint tang of iron drifting over the market. Out on the channel, the ruins of the old Bridge of the Unifiers jutted like broken teeth toward the Land of Waves. Ferries crossed now, stitched between the banks like needles, halting whenever Solanaceae patrols passed in pairs with their helms low against the drizzle.
Narberal kept to the cover of a crooked eave, cloak drawn tight to hide the armor underneath. From there, she watched her mark. “Master Hollo,” the locals called him, a polite herbalist, known for steady manners. Too steady. His pack was far too light for a traveler. His ledger, too neat for a man who lived in stables. He bought willow bark and kelp ash, always overpaying “by mistake,” and swapped gossip with fishwives and coopers about Uchiha sightings in Mianmen and pipes at Eastwatch. Every door he passed, his left hand brushed inside his sleeve. A nervous tick, or a ritual.

She let the crowd take her in, moving as one more shadow among them, a pebble swallowed into the current. Watching, unseen. Hollo left the harbor with a pace that matched the patrol gaps, moving into the dye quarter where gutters ran green and blue. Then across a sheep pasture, heading for birch woods. It was a practiced route, meant to shake tails. open ground, easy to expose anyone who followed. He wasn’t shinobi, but someone had taught him well enough. Narberal breathed once, steady and calm, and split her chakra into two threads. A faint clone drifted down the road at a forgettable pace, while she skimmed the stone wall at the field’s edge, low and careful not to silhouette against the sky. Let him think his tricks worked. People who think they’ve fooled the world always show their truest habits.

She cast Bunshin no Jutsu.
(Bunshin No Jutsu) - Clone Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: E
Range: Short
Chakra: 5
Damage: N/A
Description: A clone made of the user that can move but(cannot use any jutsu)This clone is merely an illusionary projection of the user.

From behind an oak, Hollo checked his rear. He saw the clone shape continuing north and let himself relax. At a mossy milestone he pinched the green away, thumbed it to powder, and stepped into the birchwood with deliberate care, heel to root, never soft earth, sometimes doubling his steps to muddle his trail. Always brushing that left sleeve. Narberal kept to the wall’s shadow, slid through a gap, and entered the trees at an angle, light-footed with the wind behind her. The birches gave way to a squat stone bothy pressed against a hill’s shoulder. Hollo knocked twice, too exact to be chance, ran his fingers beneath the lintel as if checking, and slipped inside. She waited. Counted breaths. A chair scraped, a cork pulled. Then she pressed an eye to the shutter’s seam, catching the room reflected faintly in a warped tin plate.

Hollo sat at a narrow table with a ledger open. Across from him, a broad-shouldered man handed over a parcel wrapped in oiled paper. His posture spoke of drill yards, old Shaohai training, though his left shoulder favored an old wound. On the table lay stacked paper with a watermark curled like a vine, and a stub of wax stamped with a thorned loop. Hollo tucked the parcel into his left sleeve with that same reverent touch. Narberal needed just one heartbeat closer. She pinched damp soil, breathed across it, and lifted her palm. A cluster of fireflies rose, faint golden motes drifting toward the shutter seam, enough to distract without alarming.

Firefly Arts: Rite of Spring
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S rank
Range: Short - Mid range
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: Using any fireflies on the battlefield as a medium, the user will cast a jutsu on the opponent, where fireflies will start flashing, intermittently with colours beginning to induce all opponents into a sort of seizure-like state. Upon starting, the opponents will have a hard time focusing, their vision going blurry, decreasing their ability to track by 3 levels. Upon the second turn, their muscles begin to seize up and contract quickly, losing control of them, decreasing their speed by a single rank. Upon the third turn the opponent passes out unconscious.
-Can only be summoned by those that signed the firefly contract
-Due to being trained to fight alongside fireflies, flashing lights become second nature to signers.

The veteran grumbled, stood, and slapped the shutter. Hollo flinched, brushing his wrist again, sleeve twitching as the fireflies kissed his skin. In that moment Narberal caught a glimpse of the top page: Transfers: Mianmen to Eastwatch, per instruction of En-. The wax seal and the watermark matched. Not chance. An organization.
She eased back into shadow, letting the fireflies wink out. She memorized the details: the angle of the room, the papers, even the bottle they drank from. But she didn’t break the meeting. Killing a courier too soon cut off the trail. Better to follow the root to its trunk.

When Hollo left by the back door, his step was careful, memorized. He cut along hedgerows and scrub, heading toward the looming gray of the Solanaceae Wall at the Shaohai spur. Patrol bells drifted ahead. He angled to meet them, blending with their rhythm. Narberal moved in parallel, low in a ditch. When the road kinked, she had a choice: stay low and lose sight, or climb and risk being remembered. She smoothed her cloak, shook the stiffness from her legs, and joined the road in the plain posture of a dyehouse runner late to the vats.
Hollo glanced back. For a heartbeat, her tomoe caught the light, pulling at his gaze. Then she let it slip away, sliding him back into the ordinariness of carts, boys with hoops, women with buckets.

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye (3T passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank (C)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C - S (C)
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40 ( Equal Cost for Each Additional Turn Sustained )
Damage points: 30 - 80
Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Sharingan. It has also been shown to be performed through the Sharingan's higher evolutions: the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Sharingan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being difficult to break in comparison due to the sinister chakra powering them. When utilized through the Mangekyo Sharingan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal an additional 40 damage. However, the time dilation effects and similar effects/ability of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. When used through the EMS, these illusions deal an addition 50 damage. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. Controlling a target's abilities in limited to Summoning and other none Creation/Ninja entities. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan can forcibly controls Basic and Ancient Summoning's actions as long as they sustain this technique. MS can affect up to Mythical Contracts while EMS can effect even Legendary Summonings. This control is limited to the ability to control their physical movements with limited access to their ninjutsu, using only skills related to the Summoning itself.

In the event of Bijuu, Mangekyo Sharingan users are able to use their MS to cast powerful enough Genjutsu that even Tailed Beasts cannot break their hosts from it, being ensnarled as well. These Genjutsu can also seize control of a Tailed Beast by temporarily severing its connection to the host without the need for eye contact. If the Jinchuriki has not entered any Chakra Shroud state or higher, the user can cast a powerful Genjutsu that severs their connection and prevents access to the Bijuu as well as any of it's skills for 3 turns. Should a Chakra Shroud or Incomplete Jinchuriki transformation occur, the user is capable of preventing full access to it's Bijuu Skills for 3 turns by suppressing it. This presents itself in an inability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb variants, a Bijuu Skill such as Sand or Coral as well as access higher transformations. Should the user have EMS, this control is extended to blocking access for double the time and should a Complete Transformation occur, the user is capable of suppressing it's form and ending the Transformation in it's entirety and forces the health drawbacks to trigger as well as a reduced max health and chakra by 25% from fatigue. However, Bijuu Suppression can only be done by sustaining the technique at the cost of 2 moves per turn and prevents Sharingan Genjutsu for 5 turns.
Note: While powerful, the effects of Sharingan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only.
Note: When used in the NW, this can be used to tame a wild Tailed Beast and allow the user to summon it in an enraged state for 4 turns, only being capable of using Sharingan and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu during this time, Ninjutsu being barred while controlling the target. This beast is summoned at max powers and has access to it's Skills and one Bijuu Pathway, determined through Official Roll in the NRP Discord. This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World.
Note: Can only be used once per turn. MS and EMS use can only be done once every 4 turns.
Note: Requires Eye Contact and activation of 3 Tomoe and higher Sharingan.

He let himself be convinced. Turned away. Took a footpath that paralleled the Wall. The stones loomed, fresh mortar lines gleaming pale from repairs. At a rain-cut culvert, Hollo crouched, drew out a clay bottle sealed with wax, and tucked it into his right sleeve this time, balancing the paper parcel in his left. Boot leather scraped stone. “Oi! You!” A guard peered down. Narberal slid out from the brush, apron flashing beneath her cloak, voice pitched breathless.

“Forgive me, sir. Master needs the bottle, the dye’s on the boil.”

Hierarchy soothed him: servant, errand, vats. But he frowned. “What master?” Narberal ducked her head, let her hand brush a brittle twig she’d set earlier, and snapped it with a touch of chakra. The sound popped behind him. He turned, puzzled. Hollo slipped the bottle deeper into his sleeve. When the guard looked back, he saw only a servant girl and a mild herbalist. He waved them through with a grunt as another patrol’s laughter drew close.

(Kawarimi no Jutsu) - Change of Body Stance Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: E
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 5
Damage: N/A
Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The technique is a mix between high speed movement and the use of the transformation technique but has its limits.

Beyond the Wall lay Yasato, green, untouched. Lunar monoliths speared the turf like black spires, life clustering around them in pilgrim knots. Farmers touched the stone for luck; children pressed their cheeks to the humming surface. Hollo skirted crowds, washed his hands at a trough, and left another dead drop beneath the boards. Narberal circled, memorizing shadows, angles, timing. At a thornbush he paused, adjusting his sleeve. Narberal coaxed a handful of fireflies, just enough to pull his eyes. He checked the bottle, and she saw it clearly: thorned loop seal matching the paper’s watermark. Papers and bottle, bound to the same hand.

Firefly Arts: Dance of the Fireflies
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A rank
Range: Short - Mid range
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will swipe blood on their tattoo/form hand seals, and slam their hand onto a surface. This allows them to summon forth a special swarm of Fireflies. These are around the size of a (insert a small size here). The swarm is easily discernible and can be heard, and summoned within Short range of the user. The swarm quickly covers the users' position, or can be manipulated to swarm around a specific object. This swarm will then emit lights in an distracting way, inducing a Genjutsu. This Genjutsu is simple, and merely causes the opponent to focus on the lights of the Fireflies that vary into different colors, acting as an apt distraction, hiding the user for ample time. This can be focused around the opponent as well, allowing the user to attack from a blindspot.
Notes; - Lasts only 3 turns
-Can only be summoned 2 times per battle with a 2 turn cool down between summons

By afternoon, she had the picture: a name (Hollo, false), habits (left sleeve for papers, right for bottle), route (Haesu -> pasture -> Wall -> Yasato), contact (Shaohai veteran with a bad shoulder), documents (crescent-vine watermark, thorned loop seal), and onward vectors (Eastwatch pipes, or west through Mianmen). The part of her trained in Shimogakure pressed to strike now. End it. But patience would map the trunk, not just the twig. She turned from the sweetness of Yasato pilgrims laughing at stone and followed Hollo’s fading shape into the crowd, her step as plain and forgettable as the first one she had taken that morning.

Story Elements:
  • Trail an individual without being detected (2)
  • Infiltrate an enemy’s base (3)
  • Deal with a traumatic event from your past (3)

Part 2: Masks and Mirrors

Haesu’s docks lay drowned in fog, the kind that blurred everything into suggestion. Ships were no more than ribs and masts jutting upward like bones. Narberal Gamma kept to the edges, her cloak drawn close, her staff disguised as a walking stick. She wasn’t here for fishmongers haggling in whispers or smugglers hiding deals in the mist. She was here because rumor had teeth: a courier was moving through Haesu tonight, carrying maps and orders from Shaohai’s outposts. If those papers reached the wrong hands, unrest would spill north toward Mianmen like oil through water. The assignment was simple enough: follow, infiltrate, recover. Yet her mind carried heavier knots. She had tasted deception on her last mission, and the taste lingered. Steel cut, yes, but illusion carved deeper.
Her gaze snagged on him almost by instinct. A man in a drab cloak, hunched shoulders, but his stride was too careful, too aimed, to belong to a dockhand. He wound into the alleys beyond the shipyard. Narberal followed, folding herself into the hush of Haesu’s night. She ducked under a crumbling arch, formed her seals, and let chakra ripple.

(Henge no Jutsu) - Transformation Technique

Damage: N/A
Description: A Ninjutsu technique, which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

The fishwife she had seen at market two days ago trudged forward now, basket empty, face worn. Not Narberal. Not shinobi. Just another shape. The courier’s glance slid past her without pause. She kept her pace even, her heart quickening with that sharp thrill of being invisible in plain sight. He led her deeper until the fog thinned and a warehouse appeared, sagging between broken stone walls. Its doors were chained loosely. He slipped inside with a glance over his shoulder. Narberal crouched by the wall’s shadow and raised her hand, weaving a small seal. Fireflies shimmered into being, their glow drifting upward like lantern sparks. Any passerby would look at the light, not her, and she slid silently to the door.

The air inside reeked of salt rot and mildew. Crates lined the walls, some stamped with Solana’s military seal, others pried open and gutted. Narberal pulled herself into the rafters. From above, she watched the courier kneel at a table before three armored figures. Mercenaries. Old Shaohai insignia clung to their armbands, faded now, rebellion-for-hire more than regiment. Their voices carried in low, harsh tones. They spoke of troop shifts, thin patrols, and striking near the ruins of the Bridge of the Unifiers. Her jaw locked at that word. Bridge. Her mind dragged her somewhere else: back to Shimogakure burning, timbers screaming, clan blades falling to shadow. The heat surged up her chest, fire begging to be freed. She wanted to drop from the rafters, drown them all in flame, end the plotting here.

Her fingers dug into the beam instead. Breathe. Hold. No fire. There were sharper tools now. She let her Sharingan turn, tomoe spinning, and sent her chakra outward. Shadows of fear curled behind their eyes. One saw a noose, the crowd jeering. Another saw betrayed comrades. Their leader saw crimson banners of the Trifarian Legion sweeping toward him. They flinched, cursed, staggered back from the table.

( Magen: Narakumi ) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.

Their panic filled the warehouse, but Narberal’s chest squeezed with it. The terrors they saw were hers as well. Betrayal, ruin, the helpless night Shimogakure fell. Her illusion mirrored her own scars back at her. For a breath she almost gave in, almost unleashed the fire her chest begged for. She forced it down, nails biting her palm. Not here. Two mercenaries bolted, tripping over crates in their rush. A third dropped his sword and ran. Only the leader stayed, knuckles white on the table’s edge, sweat streaking his face. Narberal dropped from the rafters, her landing soft as ash. He spun, swinging his blade wild. She caught his wrist, twisted, rammed her knee into his leg, and drove an open palm into his neck. He crashed to the floor.

(Asshō) - Pressure Palm
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user strikes their opponent with a downwards thrust striking them to the floor.

She wrapped an arm around his throat, choking until the panic dulled. “Who… who are you?” he rasped.
She leaned in, Sharingan blazing inches from his eyes. Her disguise melted away, pale face and silver hair bared to him. For a heartbeat, she wanted to give him her true name: Narberal Gamma, of Shimogakure, daughter of ruin. But the words that came were colder.

“I am whoever you need me to be.”

His eyes widened in confusion before he slumped unconscious. She let him fall, bound his wrists with cord scavenged from a crate, and dragged him into the shadows. The crates marked with Solana’s seal were empty, and tracks led deeper into the warehouse. Narberal followed, fingers brushing stone until she found a draft. A hidden passage. Fireflies glowed at her call, spilling into cracks to trace the outline of a door. It gave way with a push. The air grew damp as she descended the stairs. At the bottom, a chamber stretched, oil lamps smoking above maps and weapons. Three mercenaries hunched over parchment, plotting strikes on patrols, feeding lies into Eastwatch’s scouts.

She crouched in shadow, then let her form ripple. One of the men from above, the one who had fled, took her place.

(Henge no Jutsu) - Transformation Technique

Range: Short
Chakra: 5
Damage: N/A
Description: A Ninjutsu technique, which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

She stumbled into the lamplight, shoulders heaving. “The Legion, already here,” she gasped, voice shaking. Their faces went pale. One shouted in panic, another cursed. The youngest sprinted for the stairs. The others grabbed at the maps. Narberal’s kunai flashed, burying itself in a lamp. Fire toppled into parchment. Maps went up in seconds. A mercenary lunged, blade raised, and she shed the disguise in smoke. She met him at close range, staff swinging, the butt cracking his ribs before she slammed him against the wall.

(Shubi Kurēn) Defensive Crane
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 30
Description: A very advanced and complex defensive form, the Defensive Crane allows the user to divert the path of incoming attacks with the back of his hands, using circular and wide movements that expand outwards. He can intercept weapons or incoming taijutsu attacks. The technique is best used when facing an opposing Taijutsu move by diverting the incoming limb to one side and combo the defensive stance with an attack, exploiting the opening created.

The second came at her. Narberal spun, drew breath, and unleashed a torrent of flame.

(Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally. The fire ball can present itself in 2 forms: it can either be created by a stream of fire and sustained as a gigantic ball of flames in front of the user spanning up to short range or be released as a slightly smaller ball of fire which will travel towards the enemy up to mid range.

The blast tore through the chamber, collapsing wood and stone. Smoke and fire choked the air. Through it, her Sharingan caught the man’s eyes. His rage faltered. The illusion pulled him under, this time showing something worse. His comrades gone, his death pointless, his body left to rot. His scream echoed until it broke into silence.

The chamber stank of charred parchment and fear. Narberal sifted through the ruins until she found a single scrap of map unburned. Coordinates, marked hastily: Mianmen. Her kin’s compound. The mercenaries weren’t striking the bridge, they were turning toward Uchiha soil. Her hand clenched around the parchment. Fury flared. But she didn’t burn the room to cinders. She remembered the bound mercenary above. He would wake with broken memories. The others would wake with terror etched deeper than scars. That was enough. She climbed back to the surface, fireflies trailing her like dim stars. Outside, the fog had thinned, and faint starlight broke over Haesu. Narberal pulled her cloak close, melting into the alleys, parchment safe at her side.

Her words echoed in her skull: I am whoever you need me to be.

It had been a lie when she spoke it. Yet tonight, after masks and illusions, after fear planted in hearts like seeds, she could not tell if the lie was becoming truth. The girl of Shimogakure was fading. Step by step, she was becoming something else. At the edge of the docks she paused, staring across black water toward Mianmen. Her hand touched the parchment. She knew her next path. The Uchiha would need warning, and she would carry it north.

The fog swallowed her again. Fireflies scattered behind her, fading into the night like stars.
