We know Itachi and Tobirama are wrong about needing hatred to get strong and awaken the Sharingan, Sarada proved that it possible to unlock with positive feelings.

Itachi was wrong about the Uchiha needing to kill their love one or best friend to awaken MS, Kakashi killed Rin, yet Obito and Kakashi awakened their Sharingan.


Would the Uchiha been able to awaken had they cooperated and switch brother and sister eyes without killing?

It is funny in a way, their powerful dojutsu the mangekyou sharingan requires either Hashirama cell to not go blind or someone eye to not go blind and evolve.

Itachi was wrong about blind ms, Obito is proof that with Hashirama Cell the user doesn't go blind. That means EMS isn't the only way to prevent blindness and recover eye sight.

Well to be fair there are ninjas with Uchiha blood, here are the ninjas:

Sarada
Shins, they were born with Sharingan which has Uchiha blood.

The Shins don't have the draw back of Kakashi meaning it is not transplant and can be deactivated like a true Uchiha.

The Uchiha can return better than ever, especially since Hashirama cells is the cure for blindness.

Let's not forget thanks to Sarada they know hatred isn't the answer.
