Had Kisame survived turtle island, I'd like to hear your opinion on his possible role within the war.

I'd think that he'd come back, barely clinging onto life and Obito would have given him bits of a zetsu body, healing him and boosting his already monstrous chakra reserves, vitality, and physical strength.

Within the war, I'd think he would have done well with the seven swordsmen against Kakashi and his company. Or due to his role in capturing Jinchurriki's, He would have traveled with Tobi and his six paths and that would have given Kakashi, Gai, Bee, and Naruto a nigh impossible fight. I'd love to see his reaction once the mask came off and when Madara enters the field.

Good question, I'd surmise that He'd assist Guy against Juudara in his shark form..nah I'll let Guy have his moment, I'd think He'd be fighting Juubito and would probably be killed in a fit of rage, but not without draining his chakra, giving sasuke and Naruto room for the win

He already knew that it was Obito under the mask, he knew before he joined Akatsuki, but yeah I agree if he saw Itachi he may have changed sides.

no lol , he would be mind****ed and **** questioning himself how would tobi be obito and not madara and how madara would be an edo tensei if he was tobi , plus , i bet he would be with kisame helping him defeating kabuto and we , for the first time would see kisame and itachi working together to defeat a common enemy.

Kaguya would have just absorbed GSB as she did Amaterasu; her absorbing ninjutsu is stronger than Kisame's just like other Rinnegan users and Toneri with Tenseigan. Kisame shown to know about Tobi but I don't he didn't know it was Obito instead of Madara. Kisame has more loyalty towards Obito than Itachi; after Itachi's death he was happy to know who Tobi was and he knew Tobi longer while we know Kisame wanted to fight Itachi from they time they met.

Rather or not Kisame choose to go against Obito after finding out about IT is unknown right now since he killed himself to protect Akatsuki's and Tobi's secret. Obito acting as Madara wouldn't be a big thing since he was still working with Madara at that point. Kisame could affect the war greatly but it depends on which battlefield he's going to be on.

If Kisame had survived, I think he was bound to meet Edo Itachi and they would fight for a brief time and then Kisame would change sides. After that Plot might kill him.

Problem is, he lost Samehada which is a nerf. I'd imagine he would set out in search of Samehada.
