Had Jiraiya been alive... What difference would this make in the war? We hafta assume Naruto wouldn't have learned sage mode... Well not immediately as he did. And the Leaf village wouldn't have been destroyed... SO many things could have happened differently. What do you all think? it's something I think about all the time... I mean he was a key player up until his death.

I have a feeling it would be part of Jmans will for him to learn it. But if he didn't die naruto wouldn't have the striveing force that he had. Plus Japan's death also matured naruto a lot and gave him serious character development.

SO basically, his death served the purpose of only furthering Naruto's developement ? I mean it makes sense. Naruto did adore the man.

Mostly and also give him a reason go get stronger and go after pain. To avenge his sensei but he had a change of heart after reading book and that's when we wanted peace, but still couldn't forgive Nagato.

Maybe, because he himself has been shown to be quite the powerhouse. Anyone deserving praise from Nagato I'd say is a powerhouse lol

With Jiraiya alive... I think Naruto's progress would've furthered even more. Who better than to have around as an inspiration than his master? Naruto lost everyone he has close to family, I think it might've been too much in the end. But I feel you though... It gave him the push he needed to defeat Nagato.

honestly i feel like Jaryias death served multiple purposes. Most having to do with naruto. Naruto has never actually lost someone close to him. By jman dying he was put in the same position as sasuke. When Naruto met up with negato this was a turning point in his character development. Insead of killing Negato he cose not to. Which completely contridicts sasukes decision. So in a sence Jman dying gave naruto insight on how sasuke felt

well hard to say, but jiraiya did teach him rasengan for him to protect himself, and the first thing he taught him was toad summonso i think kinda the stuff thats been happening, but jiraiya might be fighting with the kages vs madara or he would have went to kill kabuto, or he would have fought tobi on his own,and got jumped by the edo tailed beasts,
or he would follow Orochimaru to the edo hokages and forced to fight them all on his own
either way he would have got killed by a group of people maybe
