Right before the ten tails body was sucking up the hachibi, a tentacle got cut some how?

i dont know how at all. it just happened.

Any idea what happened?

maybe bee escaping again?

But this is a bijuu being pulled from his body, its different. maybe a portion of the 8 tails will remain with him?

Any thoughts?

maybe it is bee seperating from main hachibi. but retaining some of it so its not a full extraction? since bee isnt a godly uzumaki, he would probably die from a normal extraction. this probably saves him if it turns out this way.
