Guys i'm reaaaaaly scared about who the next pope will be because on youtube........

.....i discovered that the next pope will according to some prophecy will be the last,what i'm concerned about is what i heard on youtube about how the next pope will apparently and i appologise if i'm wrong but according to what i discovered on youtube he will be the prophecised "FALSE PROPHET" if this is true then i'm truley shaken by this as this means that the antichrists reveal isn't far away and well when i think about it i was one of the people worried about the world ending in 21st dec 2012 and when it became obvious that it's not gonna end in 2012 i was really happy cause at the time i was terrified cause well the thought of death seems scary but now 2012 has come and gone and it's now 2013 i was hoping to be looking forward to buying nsuns3 but when i heard about the popes resignation i thought to myself "SHIT!" then i decided to go on youtube cause i needed to confirm a few things that i was concerned about and i typed in the name of the pope that i heard could possibly become the next pope and i admit what i discovered on youtube has left me shaken, if i'm right then that means that when that time comes "WE ARE ALL DOOMED!" but if i'm wrong then i apologise but i'm someone who when i have a gut feeling about something i believe my gut feeling and well i have to say if you wanna know what i'm panicked about then go on youtube and see with your own eyes.

Honestly, the more I read and the more I think about it - the more I begin to believe that organized religion is, itself, the false prophet.

By focusing on the idea of salvation, as opposed to the concept of service, the entire thing has become skewed. Jesus pretty much came and said: "Hey, you all have kind of started missing the point. The point is to worship God through being helpful and civil toward each other - not funding the bureaucracy of the Pharisee."

Of course, even looking at Paul's letters - we saw that get skewed way the hell out of context within the first churches (that had already shifted the focus from service and fellowship to that of salvation... IE - who would be going to heaven and who would not be - which is not a judgment for us to make nor one we should be concerned with).

Though the false prophet as mentioned in Revelations is, more than likely, a Roman Emperor. Much of the imaginative language and expressions are thought by many scholars to be symbolic representation of the Roman empire and was meant to be something of a creative way of speaking out against the Romans without rousing the attention of Roman officials. Many Jews were very, very focused on the idea of being freed from Rome (and would-be messiah were cropping up everywhere with little uprisings aimed at Rome - even after Jesus' death).

I am not sure if I am recalling a verse or if I'm just pulling something I heard out of memory - but I do believe Jesus specifically mentioned that there would be false prophets to follow him. This was not just a generalization - but also somewhat specific, because there would be no shortage of individuals declaring themselves to be the messiah and leading an armed revolt against Rome (and it would get people killed with little real likelihood of establishing independence).

Sometimes... I think we get a bit too caught up in 2000 year old writings and prophecies for our own good. When we're not doing that... we like to elevate individuals to a status of "He/she is closer to God than others and should be given more weight to his/her opinion." I've met a few ordained pastors/ministers who would, occasionally, speak as if their own views/opinions were God's (or that he/she had a much more clear insight into what God had intended). Which is a reality of human nature - but it makes the philosophy that someone can be of a higher understanding of God inherently dangerous.

But I'm digressing, considerably.

I'm wondering "IF" say the next pope "IS" the prophecised false prophet is it possible that he's already in the vatican and could have been there for many years or and i know this may sound silly will he appear from out of nowhere also about the antichrist i have a few suspicions as to who it might be but i would like to know what you guys think, are the beasts of revelation already here? have we seen them on tv,read about them in news papers,heard about them on the radio when will they strike? i don't know about you guys but i'm wondering if that meteor/ite shower we had could have been some sort of sign or something that's trying to wake us up i don't know but anyway i've been paying attention to events happening in the world including the middle east via the news and internet and alot of the things that's happening have me worried cause i have a feeling that march/april could be when the beasts of revelation will make themselves known to the world but i could be wrong.

Fine! but really if it's true then this world i guess will basically be like "hell on earth" and all the scary stuff that's happened up until now will be nothing compared to the "HORRORS" that will take place in the very very very near future,you see i just like many on this planet would love for true peace to come about and for this world to be normal the way it should be but unfortunately with all the terrible things that's been happening over the years i've lost faith in humanity and right now with things set to get far worse i doubt things will get better and i doubt that we'll ever know what real true peace is and that's a sad fact.

no offense to you or anything like that and i get that you may find that i'm letting my ass do the talking but do you seriously think all this,all the stuff that's gonna happen in not the future but the very near future is stupid? cause i don't think all this is stupid and i doubt when the day comes when those horrible things happen that you would still think i'm stupid, but anyway despite what u may think i "DON'T" believe everything i hear or everything i read but there's certain things in this world that despite whether or not you wanna believe or not there are things that CANNOT be ignored and i know what i'm talking about cause there's things that i didn't think could happen and i just like u used to tell people that they're stupid and gullable etc and i used to laugh at them until i realised that those things i was told about stated happening and that's why even though as i said i don't believe eveything i hear/read etc i also have to force myself to think about the fact that there are certain things that aren't meant to be ignored.
