Guys I just had the Mother of all thoughts! Wait till you read this...

Now I can vaguely remember what Manga page it was where this was said.

But I am sure you all remember the analysis of White Zetsu by Konoha, in that report it was mentioned that White Zetsu has the same DNA structure as Hashirama:

That the properties in Senju DNA could be used for one to gain immortality if used correctly:

There is one other thing mentioned about him, and I cant seem to find it...but I do know for sure that I have definitely read it in the Manga.

It was discovered by Konoha, that Zetsu had the same elements as a Parasite!

Now here is where my theory begins....what if Tobi is actually the same thing as Zetsu created by Madara before his death.

What if Tobi is an actual virus or a parasitic organism created by Madara in his own image and with his own cells... that has taken over Obito's body and mind ever since they pulled him out from under that rock at Kannabi Bridge!

These images show the outbursts by Tobi, but they tend to seem like the words of Obito dont they? What if it wasnt entirely Obito, just the part of his mind that might still be Obito?

Remember Pain knew all along who he was. It was Tobi's way of watching over his organization and having a little fun with Deidara.

YES!!! Thank you for finding that!

No prob, and like I said I don't think this is what will happen, but this makes pretty good sense TBH. Tobi is obviously part Zetsu, and according to this Zetsu is a parasitic life form. I still don't see how this helps the issues with the timeline, but it does help explain why Tobi comes off as a complete maniac. It also helps explain how he survived being crushed, and why Tobi did things the original Obito would have had no real motivation for.
