Sexist threads at NB are quite common and guys supporting are also in large numbers. A lot of them probably neither realise nor care that they are offering validity/encouragement to an obnoxious behaviour and are totaly ignorant of world wide social problems, discrimination and exploitation such behaviour leads to.

A lot of them probably neither realise nor care that they are offering validity/encouragement to an obnoxious behaviour and are totaly ignorant of world wide social problems, discrimination and exploitation such behaviour leads to.

Your never going to end sexism.... You can however make it into a joke which no one takes seriously though. In that sense it is alive however its currently on the side of the highway looking for work.

It cannot happen it is not symmetrical!!! Wait.... Are you trying to mock me by posting the beautiful #8 where there should only be a #6?! I know the #8 is a beautiful number that is perfectly symmetrical and will be the same if it is divided vertically, horizontally, or diagonal but you cannot just use it whenever! In some parts of the world yes and to some extent. Off course sexism, racism bigotted views all this will never end ( and it is not limited to any particular community or gender either) - human nature to an extent. We can only minimise the effects.

When I post in such threads it means I will be keeping an eye on it. That's a step before outright closing.

This has probably been said more times than anyone would care to count, not just on here but everywhere, not all guys are the same. Yes, I will admit some guys are sexist pigs, and sadly they overshadow good guys because the good we do is noticed but the bad is always remembered. I'll use an example we can all relate to, look at Naruto. I highly doubt Kishi created him on a whim. Naruto is the embodiment of a good guy, I don't just mean he's the protagonist either, he is what most good guys are like: friendly, caring, and protective of everyone he meets. Sexism will never cease to exist, it has deep roots throughout history, but maybe we can suppress it and one day it won't be such a touchy subject, at least that's how I feel about it anyways. However, everyone is entitled their own opinion, so whether or not you give my opinion any thought doesn't hurt me any, though I do hope people will learn from the manga and anime we all read and watch and ask ourselves why was that particular character created that way.
