Yeah, Madara vs Gai was all plot. Because for the sake of plot Gai with his final taijutsu decided to kick Madara's chest instead of his head, which would have killed him right on the spot, without regeneration saving him.

Shinra Tensei can be withstood.

So no, it wasn't "plot," you're just getting angry over absolutely nothing.

It was inevitable, Kishimoto had to give Madara that personality otherwise he would of just spammed more than two meteors and killed everyone in the fourth division, went Perfect Susanoo right away and killed the Kages, then joined Obito a lot earlier than he did and taken everyone out before Sasuke and the Kages even got there and edo tensei was released. He literally could of done all that in like 20-30 minutes. But thats what happens when you make your villain too strong they have to be dumbed down or play around so the heroes have a chance.
