Guy vs. Itachi

Who do you guys think wins this match? It is definitely a tough call, but I think Guy takes the win. It's tough because going all out for either character results in that character's death, possibly along with the opponent's death.

As seen, Itachi died because he went all out in his fight with Sasuke.
As seen, Guy would have died going all out in his fight with Madara if Naruto hadn't stepped in.

But give me your thoughts.

Gai would destroy that Susanoo. Itachis is like the weakest version of it that we've seen. If he can blow a hole through a juubi enhanced madara he's going to tear through that Susanoo so easily

Jubi Madara was impaled by a common sword and Obito got a generous hole drilled into his back from a Rasengan whose larger version failed to kill Obito in his teenage. That's Jubi Jin's durability in a nutshell: shitty is one word for it. He isn't breaking anything over Ribcage.

And Juubi Obito got his by Sage mode Naruto. His rasengan is without a doubt stronger than what Minato hit kid obito with.

Lee was in base but had kyuubi chakra and he bisected edo madara who wasn't defending himself. Lee never broke Madara's susanoo nor could he. Also Madara's ribcage got hit by Ay/Onoki backpack combo before which caused Madara's ribcage to crack then tsunade broke some couple of ribcage's bones. She never destroyed the whole thing.

Madara wasn't in more advanced susanoo than we've seen itachi in he was in an equal or maybe even less advanced one. Go look it up. And he got sent flying, susanoo wasn't broken so that's irrelevant. Even with 8 gates, gai has a time limit and Itachi has yata Mirror which no attack penetrates, so like I said, with Itachi camping in susanoo what does gai do?

And that's without using more advanced tech, izanami potentially wrecks. Izanagi sets time delay and Itachi could just materialise after gai's gates take their toll on him.

Why don't you give me a scan for the bold. That'd be great. Also, Tsunade broke the Susanoo after she punched it, Mei tossed it around with two Suiton techs, and then Raikage used a karate chopped it by having Oboki lighten him to increase his speed, and then, finally, her kick broke it apart along with a chop from Raikage.

The Rasengan Naruto used is smaller than the one Minato used:

Can you spot the difference? Minato's hand is much smaller by comparison to Naruto's hand if compared to their respective Rasengans. Not only that, Minato is far away in terms of perspective than Naruto, and still his Rasengan looks bigger. Point being that failed to kill Teenage Obito whilst Naruto's smaller Resengan drilled a hole in its back. That Rasengan wouldn't even put a scratch in a V1 Jin cloak that has deflected way deadlier attacks.

So, if you are gauging Gai's strength by using his attacks on Madara as some sort of great feats, then don't. JJs have shitty durability, but godly healing and defense aka TSBs.
