Guy sensei may not possibly die after night guy

I always see vs threads in which everyone says that guy will die if he uses 8th gate hence this is not a victory

but kishi gave us a hint which we missed

according to kakashi theory, if someone uses 8th gate then one sure be died after attacking the opponent
but that's not the case for guy sensei

when madara outmastered everyone in the arena, the only hope was guy sensei...
he first hit him with hirudora, an attack after which body can't even move
then he missed

after that he decided to use his 8th gate super attack evening elephant!!

according to the theory 8th gate accumulate the entire chakra of the body to land the most powerfull attack so, he must have died or close to death after eve elephant

but what we saw after eve elephant, there was another attack that was even more powerfull!!
that is Night Guy

if we now estimate the chakra usage for three dealy attacks that will be like
10-15% for hirudora
30-35% for evening elephant
and 55-60% for night guy

so if he just use evening elephant or night guy then he would have a reserver of 30 40% chakra which is enough to stay alive in a very critical state....

No he won't. It's not working as you think. When you release last gate, you're turning into time bomb. Gai is a Master to use inner gates. He had more time and can endure the pain/feedbacks. It's just all. But if you're talking about VS Threads, It won't tie, I think Gai would able to stand more than his opponents, then he would die but if it's last man standing Gai would win the battle then die. It's up to you. How you're gonna think about it's win or tie.

8 gate would still kill him, it tears his body apart as it opens all of his chakra gates which is meant to be chakra limiters. After going 8 gates he felt pain in his body that stopped him from moving well for a bit then he said he started to get use to the pain, push past the pain to keep fighting. You know he uses chakra to increase his speed as well right? That's how his speed increase with each gate.

Opening the gates damages his body and using night elephant cost the him more chakra than his normal output so giving off such high chakra when his body normally doesn't have access to such chakra. Chakra is made by converting your stamina to chakra as Ebisu explained to Naruto in part 1, so if Gai's normal chakra uses all of his stamina then using the gates pushes his body past its limit and the 8th gate is said to kill you, not from using all of your chakra but by using it.
